We stayed at the Percy French for 4 nights at the end of July. After many many years of visiting the same hotel and town, we find service levels get higher and higher every single summer. The Murray family simply cannot do enough for you along with Raymond and Eta. I cannot wait for our next visit!

We travel to the West of Ireland when returning home from overseas and make it our mission to stop off at the Percy French for lunch or dinner. We appreciate the efforts of the staff and the charm of the locals is a bonus...thank you.

Had a lovely dinner with family, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Handy location, good parking behind and lots of spots out the front too. Lots on menu so something for everyone's likes, desserts delicious too! Exactly what you'd love for a Sunday dinner, or quick bite during the week.

My husband, cousin, and myself stopped here before taking a Strokestown Famine Tour for a pint and a bit of lunch. It was such a lovely and comfortable stop. The staff were friendly and helpful. Had delicious soups with brown bread and sandwiches. Hit the spot indeed! Our beer was cold, and we enjoyed relaxing here for a bit before... More

Nice place,in centre of town, which is small but has a lovely park. We had big luggage so they upgraded us to a room with an extra bed, which was lovely! The staff helped carry bags and the room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good and so was dinner at the Hotel..

I have visited the Percy French hotel on a number of occasions. Although the prices have increased since my last visit, the standard of service and the bedrooms have improved immeasurably. I recommend staying in this hotel if you are visiting Strokestown and surrounding villages such as Tulsk.
