The owners of Millview Farmhouse are very friendly. I received a warm welcome by Liz and her husband and was staying in a beautiful room. There is a very nice garden too. Within walking distance of the town. Good places to eat in the vicinity. Natasja Boom The Netherlands

Liz Breen kindly made room for us to stay for four nights. Friendly hosts, friendly dogs. Plenty of space in rooms, full of light, perfectly adequate facilities, clean towels daily and bed made which was nice. Kettle, teabags etc in room and Liz kindly provided fresh milk too. Small tv in room too. Breakfast good. Well placed for the Wicklow...

Very comfortable B&B which is also a working farm, owners very friendly and helpful, close to town and several local tourist attractions, room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Old farmhouse with "old fashioned" appearance, wifi was spotty but accessible from common room, great place to stay, we stayed 2 nights during our trip and would definately return to this place.

My last stop on my Ireland trip was the Mill View Farmhouse and it was just a dream. Liz is just such a warm person and no effort was too big for her to make me feel comfortable. She even drove me through the nice village of Bunclody to show me some good restaurants and bars. The location itself and...

We came here after a night flight and we're welcomed very nicely The room is nice and equipped and the breakfast was good There is only one choice for evening dining in Bunclody - rivers edge which was nice The landlady drove us in the morning to Clonegal where the trail begun - this cost us extra 10 euros

Great landlady and very clean and comfortable little B&B. Nice end to the Wicklow Way and the start of my South Leinster way walk. the B&B is just a little way out of the centre of town, about 600 metres form the Riverside Bar & Grill, which is worth a visit for a good pint,

We stayed here the first night in Ireland, just before starting the Wicklow way. The b&b is about 1km from the bus stop (and the shops and pubs). The room was nice and clean with everything you would expect including some coffee, thee and biscuits (tip: some decaf coffee would be a nice addition). The bathroom was then again rather...

Welcomed by Liz the owner. Room very pleasant, lovely views, good Irish breakfast. Short walk to bunclody town for some good food & Guinness. Only thing I couldn't find in room was hairdryer & had to ask for one. Lovely place to stay though

Stayed here on 23rd May. We couldn't have asked for a better welcome to Ireland and the start of the Wicklow Way at this lovely B and B. Nothing was too much trouble. Liz and Jimmy were very accommodating but unobtrusive. The farm was clean and cosy with lovely individual features. Breakfast was great. We were given a lift to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Millview House is located almost on the border between the counties of Wexford and Carlow. This location makes it ideal for touring the surrounding areas of Mount Leinster, and the River Slaney and Barrow valleys not to mention the Wicklow Way Walking Trail. It is also close to a wide range of leisure activities such as polo, hang-gliding, fishing, golf and is only 600m from Bunclody. The proprietors, James and Elizabeth Breen, aided enormously by Millview itself and its setting, have created a haven where comfort and service provide an environment that is warm, friendly and informal. A member of the family is always on hand to suggest numerous places to visit in this beautiful area and transport and transfers are also available. ... more   less
