We stayed here in 2 parts, one on arriving in Gangtok and one after travelling back from North Sikkim. This is a boutique hotel and we were not sure if we shall pick this hotel or stay with a resort type facility. After staying in this hotel, we realised that our decision to stay in this hotel was correct for following reasons 1. Location - This hotel is perfectly located close to MG Marg which is a shopping / food place of Gangtok. Also it has many shops, laundry around hotel for quick shopping 2. Service - which is highlight of this hotel, staff is so polite, helpful and hospitality was at its best. Morning tea, breakfast or Lunch /dinner the food taste and quality was excellent and we were able to rely on staff in any hour of day. On our day of return we started at 4:30 am and we were surprised to that staff woke up earlier than us to see us off. Special mention to Sanjay who was always there for all guests to handle all their queries and ensure all guests are served well Overall this is great place with really great staff to take care of our stay in Gangtok and a must place to consider…

We had booked this hotel via yatra.com and out of the 3 rooms booked, 2 rooms were of the most basic category which we had missed to check in our itinerary. Though from the photos, the rooms looked decent, in reality, they were so tiny with a large pillar right in the middle of the room. The bathrooms were extremely small with just enough space to stand. The cleanliness of the rooms was so poor, that there was black mold everywhere on the walls and in the bathroom. The property was located at a very congested road but is close to the main market of Gangtok. The breakfast was very minimal with only 2-3 food items served. The staff however was quick and responsive.

Stayed here with family for 2 nights. Had booked it via a Yatra travel agent. The rooms booked were of basic category as we had not realized prior to booking the size of the rooms. Both the room and the bathroom were way too small for a comfortable stay. As if the minimal size was not enough, there was a big pillar right between the bed and the TV. We didn't even have sufficient space to put our luggage. The room walls and the bathroom walls were infested by black mould at multiple places. The hotel itself is located on a very constricted and unmaintained road. The only positive aspect of our stay at Ninamma was the service offered by the staff here. They were quick and responsive to our food and beverage orders. Would not recommend staying here.

Room was very spacious with a wonderful view of the mountains. Food was very good - whatever we ordered was well made. The best part about the hotel was the service. All our needs were taken care of by the hotel staff. A special word of appreciation for Mr Sanjay who went out of the way to ensure that our stay was comfortable.

Glad I found this hotel.. it’s good for both families , couples and even if you are travelling with parents (I was). So After doing a lot of research I finally got in touch with Meena Singhi , the owner. Smooth response and i must say everything was as I was told. We booked an executive room with a mountain view. Though it was on the 3rd floor it was not exhausting at all. The check-in was very smooth. Sanjay and Sameer are two excellent staffs of this hotel. Their behaviour and hospitality was top notch and my parents also appreciated it very much. Rooms - We were at the 3rd floor executive room. The room was very neat and well kept and had a good view of the mountain in-front. Bed sheets , blankets were spotless , clean and very comfy. Although it was foggy due to the rain but the fog added another ambience to the scene. Tea coffee sachets were available with electric kettle. I was also provided with an extra mattress so no issues there. Food - Breakfast is complimentary if you opt for it. The food here is veg with a selected menu but they are the best at each one of it. They take a bit of time around 30-45 mins but its fresh and made from scratch. So it’s worth the wait. Their Steamed momo and Afghani momo are worth the try. Compliments to chef Yogen. Location : It’s a 8-10 mins walk from the hotel to Mg Marg . It’s a very little upward and then all the way down to Mg Marg. It’s worth the walk. If you want to stay at a quite , good and standard hotel which is near to Mg Marg this could be the one. So to summarise , If you are looking for a standard , quite , good hospitable place neared to Mg Marg this place is surely worth it. I along with my parents enjoyed everyday of our stay here. A big shoutout to Sanjay and Sameer for their unmatched Hospitality and chef Yogen for the good food. Really an asset to this place. Have a happy stay!…

Rooms were clean. Staff was dedicated. Food was delicious. Personalized service provided by Mr Sanjay. He was very caring and was paying full attention to make guest comfortable. Food made by chef was very tasty like home. Also their kitchen was very neat and clean. Kanchenzanga can be seen from the room. People like Mr Sanjay are found less. Such hospitalization I haven't seen in many big hotels. Highly recommended.

Good location , near to city centre and famous MG road . nice friendly and helpful staff especially the front desk manager and Sanjay .The rooms are spacious, clean and we'll maintained. In house food is also good. Bathroom is clean and well maintained.

Small rooms. Not as spacious as shown in pictures. Property is located right next to PNG school so easier to spot. For the price they charge one can find better rooms in Gangtok. Not really worth spending that much money for a small room. So choose wisely. Overall view from the hotel is quiet good if you are only looking for a view to wake up to.
