I stayed at Summit and found it to be okay! I had booked a large family room and found the service to be average. The staff is courteous and we need to set our expectations on service and be encouraging and not compare with established players as the new locations are coming up . I would recommend that the breakfast space should be more spacious as it became quite crowded and had to struggle to grab something to eat. The location is good and peaceful , though not an easy climb for elderly people

It was an awesome experience altogether. Be it food ambience everything was top notch. Had a great stay at Summit Namnang. Mamat Rai at the restaurant was very cordial and helpful. Upma was excellent in the breakfast. View of Gangtok from the Fifth floor will be cherished for the rest of my life.

Hotel room is spacious but very dim, not enough lights. Bathroom door is a old sliding wooden door, making loud creaky sound disturbing other room mates. One bed was broken and mattress out of shape causing body pains. Breakfast options are good, mamat service is nice.
