I stayed at this place with my family and friends. Trust me this place is amazing. Those who look for a home, away from home, this is definitely for you. I booked one 2 bhk and one studio apartment for a group of 9 members. We had a.very comfortable and memorable stay. Hygiene and cleanliness was superb. Kitchen was setup with everything you need if you want to cook your own food or make breakfast. Shubham was very coperative. I would recommend to stay here in case you would want to visit Gangtok.
Also, please don't forget to visit zoo if you comes Gangtok, this is an ultimate place and has red panda.

I loved my stay at Shumbuk Homes. Customer service was amazing and has a very enjoyable experience overall. Would absolutely recommend it to everyone looking for a great experience in Gangtok. I am coming with family next time.

I travelled to Sikkim & Gangtok for the first time with my family (2 adults , 1 child , 1 toddler) . We stayed at the Shumbuk Service apartment for 4 nights , and it was a very Comfortable stay . The manager Mr. Subash Rai was very hospitable and took good care to make sure everything was as per our communication and expectations :)
The location is in market area , where all amenities are available , if you plan to cook a meal like I did quite a few times. Mr. Subash also helped us with the local travel arrangements including with pick up from the Bagdogra airport to Gangtok.
They also do provide meals on request basis which was nicely made.
I will recommend to anyone who is looking for a service apartment to consider this place to stay . This place is in the city , hence no window view of mountains or scenery to be expected.

My husband and I stayed here during December for 3nights. The place was clean and staff were friendly and attentive. The manager Mr Divesh did his best to make our stay as comfortable as possible and was always very helpful with any problems. Pity there were no heaters It was cold but Mr Divesh provided us with a hot water bottle every. Excellent breakfast . Will certainly recommend this place.

Very nice hotel with a very efficient and courteous staff. Rooms are very comfortable and with all necessary amenities. The only problem was with the food. Though you get everything but the taste needs to be improved. It was a wonderful experience.

Me , my mum and my sister we went to Gangtok and stayed in Shumbuk homes for 4 nights starting from the 10th of November. We are from Delhi and I live in Melbourne. We were quite reluctant in booking Shumbuk Homes initially because it was a little bit away from MG Road. But staying in Shumbuk homes was the best decision we made.The service was extraordinary, especially Diwas was absolutely awesome. We wanted to have some desert one night when the restaurant was closed Mr. Diwas made a lot of effort to organise deserts for us even though we knew the restaurant was closed. Distance from MG road was no big deal as taxis were easily available. Food was very good and Service is exceptional , I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I visited with my family in the last week of May 2014 and booked this serviced apartment through Cleartrip.com. The location of this property is excellent just on the highway, NH31A, but the actual market place, which is M.G. Marg is abt 10 minutes (by private taxi) from this place, which is not a bad deal keeping in mind of the hustle and bustle of the city. It was a great experience for me and my family. This property is worth the money and above all, Mr. Gyan, who is the manager of this apartment is very helpful in any manner. We got a lot of complimentaries from his side, which was not mentioned while booking this property. I would recommend any or everyone who will be visiting in the future to Gangtok to have a look at this property. I would like to thank the management for keeping this property so well maintained, neat, and clean and also in the future they will continue to do so. Last but not the least, many thanks to Mr. Gyan and his team for such a memorable stay.

We stayed with friends and are very satisfied with everything. The place was worth the money. The rooms are clean and nice with spacious sitting areas outside for TV viewing. The staff were excellent and very courteous. The food was OK and needs to improve. Complimentary breakfast was great though. The place is accessible and a cab hop from most of the shopping areas. Overall a very positive experience and definitely recommended.

Do not think for twice. just go for it. it is far far better than the all other costly hotels. staffs are very courteous. the owner, Mr. gyan, is very very helpful. the rooms are very luxurious & very very well maintained. i feel like a stay in a 4-5 star hotel. actually i feel more comfortable than my own home. very very thanks for making my trip this much memorable. the food & the location of the hotel are also excellent.
