This was my second stay (2 nights) here (after the first one in 2016). The place continues to be a great budget stay and offers great value for the money you spend. In fact I suggested to the owner/ manager Kesang that he should consider increasing the tarrif a bit as the rates are more or less the same since 2016. The room (Superior Deluxe) does show signs of COVID lockdown....but are still clean and painted recently. The roof top cafeteria is still great and gives you lovely views of Kanchenjunga and the town. It is a 15-20 min walk downhill to MG road. You may need a taxi when coming back. Overall, I was impressed with Jinesh's service and Kesangs helpfulness.

This is my 2nd visit to Gangtok and I chose to return to Hotel Pandim after having a great experience the first time. The hotel is very cozy and the view of the Himalayas and of Gangtok is nothing but superb! It’s a small family run affair, and in that way you actually get to experience some Sikkimese way of life. Kalzang, the manager, is super nice and accommodating. The roof top and restaurant is very cozy and obviously has the amazing views. Like with everything in Gangtok, you walk stairs up and down. Don’t expect the 4 Seasons Hotel here, you’re not paying for that either. But I’d surely come back here for another trip.

This family run hotel is excellent. Rooms are clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Views from the terrace are amazing if you get up early. Food is very good but a limited menu. Tibetan toast is done well here. It's a bit of a hike up to the hotel. It'll get you fit and acclimatised for a trek. Or take a taxi

This is the best bet for budget traveler looking for a steal! Great views of the Kanchanjunga, excellent food and spacious rooms. Most importantly, all the amenities fit into a really reasonable price bracket. Its also proximate to MG market and Lal bazaar, the two touristy locations for eateries, shopping and entertainment.

Had a fantastic stay in this great hotel .At the top of the town with superb views of the mountains. Beautiful traditional restaurant and lovely pancakes! A short walk from the monastery. The proprietor was unbelievably helpful spending two hours on the phone changing our plane tickets for us when we realised we were going to miss our connecting flight. Very memorable stay

This hotel is my favourite hotel in India. So friendly, lovely manager, perfect location and the view of Kangchenjunga in the morning is unbeatable. Ask for a room with a view and if you don't get it - you'll get it all at the breakfast table anyway. Pelle

On checking reviews we decided to book the hotel and we were not disappointed. Mr Kesang is genuine and helpful person, who helped us with sightseeing and travel plans with good rate. It is good place to stay with family and view from roof garden give amazing views from Gangtok. If the sky is clear you can also get great views of Kangchenjunga and neighbouring peaks. The rooms and place around the hotel are clean and with beautiful weather you can enjoy long quite walks. It is also 10 minutes walk from famous M.G Road. Definitely on our next visit to Gangtok will visit Hotel Pandim and enjoy Mr Kesang Hospitality again.

Hotel Pandim is the best of the best choices in budget hotels in Gangtok. Located uphill, the hotel offers a view on the mount Kanchendjunga that is absolutely breathtaking, a ravishment for the eyes especially from the deluxe and super deluxe rooms that are equipped with a balcony. The mountain scenery can also be seen from their restaurant and terrace. The hotel is clean, neat, very well maintained and perfectly decorated. It brings you straight into the Himalayan atmosphere. The hosts, a family with two very funny brothers one of which being the manager of the hotel, are extraordinary and always willing to serve you to their best extent. The little brother (photo) had me have some of the best laughs of my life (really). Their dog is also very funny and all in all their service oriented approach just makes you enjoying an extremely relaxing stay for a very affordable price, actually quite acceptable for that type of accomodation, which in India can be referred to as "luxurious". They definitely deserve the best rating and I will certainly return with no hesitation during my next stay in Gangtok. Their restaurant serves healthy food: their veg mixed soup is a must-try! Thanks again to this very pleasant family and see you next time!

Visited Pandim for the second time and was once again mesmerized by Kesang's (the owner) hospitality and management. It's always a great hotel to stay with family. I hope that Kesang will keep up the reputation in the long-run.
