Stayed at Sinclair’s during our visit to Gangtok, Sikkim in May! Heading out after a gap of 2 years due to pandemic we were bit choosy while opting for hotels for our stay and I can say Sinclair’s was at its best! Rooms are very spacious and cosy! No issues with hot water and also have a heater in every room! Food was just awesome.. It was tasty and the head chef Jaydev took care of all our veg friendly requirements!! He even stepped up to cook some local Sikkimese food on our request as were bit skeptical to eat local food outside due to Vegetarian constraints. Restaurant manager Mingma and Sujatha were really friendly and their hospitality was at its best!
All in all it was a superb experience..
To be improved- Pricing can be looked upon. Seems a bit overpriced.

Great hotel to stay, beautiful view of the city. Special words about the staffs Sujata, marshal, Amir, bishal, Ashwin,sugen,Indrajeet and Vivian giving service with a great smile.
Rooms were spacious for 3 + 1 family. Food is great, specially pongal and sambar was awesome.
When we reached at 11.15 PM as asked our food was kept in our rooms as Per our instructions. With sufficient quantity . Served more over we were served with paysam specially at the end at 11.45 PM
Few things that can help them, in bathrooms soaps and hair driers and stands to place soaps could be helpful for easy use.
Attention should be given to bathroom facilities. Over all loved the say.

Buffet breakfast comes with good spread of continental, South Indian and mughlai veg non veg options. Chef Jaidev is one of the best in hospitality will take personal care for the guests and will prepare what ever u want to eat and as per ur taste. Rather disappointing for the cost and star rating. While Sinclairs has better rooms than most other hotels in the town, the service is despicable and nowhere worth the expense. Their response to most issues is that they cannot do anything about it, and we must deal with it.
1. The washroom has no water pressure and showers in winter at 3 degrees are exceedingly painful. It takes 30 minutes to fill a bucket with warm water, and there's no way you can use the shower. 2. They could not get the TV working after several complaints. 3. The internet stopped working after the first day of our stay and was not fixed. 4. We waited for 2 hours for a coffee and tea. We called 3 times to follow up but it was never delivered. We gave up and left. 5. There is no valet service. It's up to you to figure out parking in their cramped space.
Not worth the money, and does not deserve the rating. Several other places available for cheaper that will take better care of you.

Dear Sir, We are saddened that you found shortcomings in our property which stands in contrast to the feedback we generally get from our guests. There was an issue regarding the TV and internet connectivity and immediately on your complaint the same was attended to and rectified. There may have been some delay in preparing food; we regret the inconvenience caused. We do have a number of parking spaces available, unlike many hotels where there is a lack of parking. We have noted your suggestion to introduce the valet service. Please be assured that guest satisfaction and superior services are our prime consideration. A last minute Diwali vacation plan fructified post th 20/10/21 landslide on NH10- cancellations ensured we got accommodation in Sinclairs Gtk. Absolute bliss, centre of town location, almost 5star stds, highest stds of cleanliness n hygiene, an eclectic spread in both Indian n Continental cuisine-the local cuisine is shaky though, well appointed comfy rooms -no ceiling fans, there's an infinity pool too. The best bit is the ever smiling helpful staff all around. Zigme Bhutia in sales exemplifies the spirit of the hotel

My family stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and we were very happy with the stay. The room had the best view of the mountains. Food was good. Chef Joydeb does a very good job. He even made us dishes outside the menu on our request. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rahul at the front desk was helping us all through. Zigme Bhutia (Sales head) was kind enough to recommend us alternative location (Zuluk) to visit to experience snow as other locations were closed due to heavy snowfall. Some Developmental Feedback - 1) Need bigger capacity Geyser or central water heating system, 2) Central Room Heating would be very useful, 3) Carpet in rooms and 4) The Toilet water jet (Jet spray faucet) can be connected to a warm water tank.

It was my first trip with my family after my wedding. The rooms were very spacious and the view from the rooms was extremely mesmerizing. The hotel is located very near to M. G. Road/Marg & Lal Bazar which is the shopping hub of Gangtok. The hotel & restaurant staff are very courteous and helpful. Mr.Arnab and Mr.Subhash, the managers are very good at managing the entire hotel. The restaurant staff, especially Ms. Seema & the head chef, Mr.Joydeb, always came and helped us with the food and asked for our honest reviews. The cleaning and maintenance staff were also very good and quick at their job.

Sinclairs Gangtok made our stay in Sikkim wonderful. We took family room was very much spaceous, clean and comfortable The chefs here are also great, we had breakfast almost every day and dinner here several times and the food was delicious and to a very high quality each time. However, the thing that really brings this hotel to the top level is the staff who are all wonderfully friendly and helpful and kind. I would like to especially thanks to housekeeping staff Parikchit pooja nima Suparna, who were making the rooms very professionally, morning we used go out and when we used return to room in the evening we literally feel everytime fresh and energetic even though we were tired. The most I liked is they used to make the two single beds with decorative designs, my both kids loved it most for long time they never used to disturb the designs on beds.Also the staff in the restaurant Sujata Mashal, Bishal, Sugen, Ashwin, Prashanto and Amir, they were excellent very helpful, promt in service, very polite. Thank you all Sinclair, Gangtok team for making our stay in Gangtok a lifetime memory.

Stayed at the Sinclairs for four days at Gangtok this April. Five of us (wife and three kids) took the interconnected family room. The Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the happening MG Marg, up an incline, but overall good location with great views of the city. Housekeeping was exemplary and though the guests were limited due to the pandemic, service and food at the restaurant were great. Seema and Karishma welcomed us every day for breakfast and were a great help making it a point to serve whatever our family wanted at breakfast. Overall strongly recommend the Sinclairs for a family stay at Gangtok. Keep it up!!

Three from our family traveled to Gangtok and stayed at Sinclairs, where we had one of the best experiences. We were stranded en route for seven hours and reached the hotel after midnight, but the stuff kept our dinner in the room and kept is warm using the room heater. The hotel has an elevator which my wife needed. Everything was neat and clean. We lived in a premium triple room (Room 51) that had a wonderful view of the mountains, although due to cloudy and rainy weather we could not see Kanchenjunga. The stuff at the front desk as well as the dining room were courteous. The breakfast was outstanding in terms of variety and quality. Among the staff whom we interacted with, all were good, but of particular mention is Rahul who sometimes went out of his way to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. I would strongly recommend this hotel to others who are looking for a quality accommodation in Gangtok at that price range.
