Could asked for extra futon/blanket and asked for an electric heater, which cost INR 300 per night, but saved us feeling cold, when arrived in late December. Food service was excellent and had complementary breakfast included both Indian breakfast and cereal and bread toast. In short we enjoyed our stay. - Geshe Lobsang Tshultrim

We stayed at the premium rooms (with valley view) in the hotel during second week of September 2022. Our leisure trip was made more pleasurable and memorable by the courteous and polite staff members including Sukman, Projakta & Soren (front desk) Nikita, Sneha, Arpan, Bishal & Sangam (restaurant) Kishen & Bheem (security) and Laden (Travel Desk). They addressed every need of ours including special meals for some of us.
We had to reschedule our program due to landslides in north Sikkim and Laden helped us chalk out the details and the hotel did the rescheduling of the bookings without a murmur
The rooms are good value for money, breakfast wholesome and location right opposite the ropeway. One can get taxis (shuttle also available) from just outside the hotel for MG Road and other places.
One aspect where the hotel needs to pay attention is their charges for the taxis that they arrange through their travel desk. We were charged far in excess for the local sightseeing than the rates prevalent at the time of our visit. There is a taxi stand right opposite of the hotel next to the ropeway. One will be well advised to check the rates from there before booking with them for local sightseeing.
All in all a satisfying stay made memorable by their staff.

Best place to stay in Deorali -Gangtol , only 2 kms away from MG Road, with share taxi@Rs.20/- is always available to reach MG Rd for roaming. This hotel is at opposite to the Main Taxi Stand and next to Forest Sectt.. Room was excellent. The Reception Desk's all staffs are very nice and in particular Mr. Bhaskar and Miss. Aynisha were of great help in taking care of our stay. Restaurant food, break fast, Dinner at the 2nd floor is excellent whereas an outlet named Sumi Noor was below expectation and was informed later that its out sourced & not their own.
Any how, will recommend this Hotel to all.

Dislikes:
1. I had booked a premium-View room and expected a king size bed to be available as a bare minimum standard. But the hotel provides queen size bed for the premium rooms which really uncomfortable when you have a kid with you. On this point the hotel person explained this as a standard availability in this hotel. (Room#601 on 17-01-2023)
2. At 10 PM the front office/reception was closed. The reception phone was unanswered. I had to come down to to the reception lobby area and found only the security guard over who obviously can't attend to any guest requirement.
3. The power went off in the hotel at 11:15 PM night and restored after approx 1 hr. That's real inconvenience without a power backup in an expensive hotel.
4. As the reception was unattended early morning i couldn't get anyone to assist for taking the luggage from the room. At 6.45 AM i had to hand over the keys to the security guard and checkout from the hotel.
5. I had to checkout early morning. So at previous night i had requested at the reception to pack the breakfast. They agreed and said i can collect from the reception. But in the packets they include only cold sandwich which was possibly prepared previous night. Hence rated as poor for breakfast.

Room was really comfortable with cozy bed and squishy pillows. Cleanliness was top notch and the view from premium room was amazing. Could grab view of entire Gangtok from the room. Staffs were really cordial as well and served food in room upon request.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Special mention to the manager Sidhant who was very helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.
