The Fern Denzong is beautifully located just 2-3 mins walk downhill to MG Marg. The food service and quality is awesome. Restaurant Jaidip Singh provided us with specially designed non spicy food for my 3 years daughter. The food quality is very good and we enjoyed every bits and pieces of it.

Location of hotel is excellent. Hotel room was very spacious. Neat and clean. Well stocked with toiletries and tea/ coffee refreshments. However, no English news channel - discourages any non-Indian. No newspaper provided. Hotel had only one lift, so going up to fifth floor was a major problem - long waiting particularly if conference etc. going on in 5th floor conference hall. Food quality is very good but extremely poorly trained waitress and waiters. No discipline and maintenance of timeliness. Ordered one fried rice (chicken) and chilli paneer for dinner. Took 35 minutes to serve that too after stern warnings. Waiters behave indifferently. At breakfast found half eaten roti straying beneath my table (from previous day's dinner), complained, waitress reacted with non-chalance. Called reception twice for bell-boy before departure. No one came and had to lug my suitcase. Receptionist created problem with billing also. Overall the staff members need better training in hospitality and service. Senior management must look at the quality of service at Tarmarynd restaurant.…

The ambience of the hotel was awesome with good conference hall. The food was delicious and the service was very prompt. The staff were very cordial. Jaideep Singh was the representative from the hotel. He arranged all the services starting from conducting the meeting to the banquet hall services in a very stream lined manner. Would suggest this hotel for any kind of business as well as personal meetings. One of the best in Sikkim
