Even though I felt the rent was too much for a single stay, I felt was huge ( I think I took delux room) which can easily accommodate a couple and 2 kids comfortably well. Didn’t had any toiletries provided. Great plus here is that you get hot water always. Considering the hygiene part i feel that they have scope for lots of improvement in cleanliness. Overall a good stay. As this place little bit far from the temple (may be 300m) and restaurants, it is preferable if you have your own vehicle for commute. The restaurant near the temple arch is simple and good. Definitely try it once

We stayed there for a night on 12th November to visit Thirunallar temple and must say that it's a very average place . Pros : Close to the temple Helpful staff and owner and son Fairly large rooms with TV Probably Ok for those traveling from distant cities Cons : Stained sheets. Just basic rooms no other facility. Highly priced.

I stayed here in end of 2016. The place is very clean, has a good car park. No restaurant though. If needed they will bring food from outside. What I liked was that the rooms and toilets very very clean and hygiene. This hotel should be listed under "Tirunallar". Instead it is listed under Karaikal which is few kms away...

Once again.. A fantastic stay at Subasree. Thanks to Selvam to make each and every trip a memorable one. Had a wonderful darshan and abhishekam at saneeswaran temple. Arrived on 18th afternoon 1 pm, started at 4 pm, and reached back after visiting 5 temples @ 21:00 On 19th we started early @ 06 30 am and covered 10 temples, before selvam dropped me off at Tanjavur station to take the train at 18:30 hours. In between selvam filled me in with stories of each temple. We stopped in between to have breakfast, lunch. I gave up myself to his suggestions and do not regret it at all. all places, picked by him were authentic, good budget and absolutely delicious. Thanks Selvam and team for making my trip a memorable one, yet again. I will be back soon, Madhu Ganesh +91 944 77 8 44 73

Visited Thirunallar Temple with family of 3 adults & wanted a stay near the temple as it is said that we need to stay a night in thirunallar while specifically coming to the temple. We reached at about 11pm & the hotel incharge were regularly contacting us of our whereabouts while on our way. We stayed in the suite room which is very spacious for 3 adults. The beds are comfortable, the AC effect was great. The entire room & the washroom was very neat. Although don't expect a great ambience for the hotel as people come here specifically on Saturdays to visit the temple & stay only for a night. The hotel staffs were very courteous & helpful both over the phone & in person. There is no room service for food, but upon request the hotel staffs had bought milk & had provided us with tea/coffee at 11.30pm, which is what impressed us the most. Hot water for drinking is also available on the request. The temple is about 700m from this cottage & it is very convenient. Car park is also available, although the cottage has no lifts (maximum of 2 floors to climb). My rating is 4, as the driver's accommodation room had a lot of mosquitos which was the feedback given by our driver. If not, for a small town of thirunallar, it is definitely worth the money!

Subasree cottage is a nice place to stay near Thirunallar Dharbaranyeswarar temple (nearly 1 Km from temple on the same road). There is no lift in this hotel and we had to climb up the stairs to first floor. No attached restaurant, though you will find quite a few small restaurants near the temple. Room is spacious but old type room, beds, bedsheets and AC were ok, TV did not work during our stay. Overall nice and calm place to stay near temple.

I was on a south india temple visit with my wife and traveled to Kumbakonam, Thirunallar, Tanjavur and other temple towns near by. We were staying overnight in most of the temple towns and were taking taxis to travel to the other temple towns near by. For people without private transport looking to stay near Saneeswaran temple, Subasree cottage is the best option. The hotel offers you a home stay feel. Please do not compare the hotel to 2 start or 3 start category hotels since Thirunallar is a very small town with minimal facilities . For such a small town, Subasree is a good option. The hotel does not have a restaurant and wifi but their service is par excellence. It is a family run business and the owner is always available to offer tips and also offered their own vehicle(2 & 4 wheeler), arranged auto to take us to the temple. the hotel is about 0.8kms form the temple and one can easily walk the distance in 15mins. For people with their own vehicle, Karaikal could offer better facility hotels. The owner himself drove us to Chidambaram, explained a lot of history of the places on the way and also took us to 2 important temples on the way . All this for a very very nominal fare. Overall, me & my wife were very satisfied with the experience and would recommend it to people who are looking to stay very close to the temple

The price is a little high for this facility. Why? - There is no on-site restaurant - The lobby and surroundings are not very clean Maybe because this is one of a few relatively clean accommodations in Thirunallar, they have hiked the price up. For the same price, we can get a really nice room with a lot more facilities in Salem or Thanjavur. That said, it is convenient location for a temple visit (just about a kilometre from the temple). The staff helps with preparations for the temple visit and even accompanied us in the early morning to the bathing pond and temple gate.

We were visiting Tirunallar temple and hence we were looking for accommodation. Based on Tripadvisor's ratings i booked this and was not disappointed. I paid some advance to block the room. The room was decent and they were ready to provide extra bed too. But the room rent was Rs. 2000/- which is quite expensive. There is no restaurant in this hotel and that was a drawback. However, since we had a car, we didnt have a problem. They also have a room where drivers can take rest. The temple and the Nalla Theertha is not close by and one has to walk a little. The room and the bathroom were clean and we didnt have a problem with it. Overall i would rate this as Good but again Rs.2000/- is a bit too expensive.
