Hi, I Neha Bajoria from Chennai had visited pondicherry on June 26th with my family and freind couple and we stayed in Le Dupleix hotel situated in the white town. It was my frend s birthday on 26th and my birthday on 27th. I had told the housekeeping member Padmini of Le Dupleix hotel to decorate both our rooms for lovely surprises. And to our surprise when we reached there we were so happy to receive such lovely welcome and beautiful decorated rooms for our birthdays. She had given all her 100% to decorate our rooms with a cake table, candles ,flowers on beds, chocolates and balloon decor. We really loved it. A big big Thank You to Padmini ma'am of the hotel to make us feel special on our special days. And she just fulfilled all my wishes which I had told her in advance. My heart was full of love and cake, seeing her hardwork and efforts..God bless her.She was very polite, loving and hardworking in her work. I am attaching some pictures here of her decor work done for US.…
Heritage hotel, nostalgic takes you back in the era Courteous staff always looking out to make your trip a memorable one. 5 stars on account of the staff Luxurious rooms and amenities and walking distance from beach and other iconic destinations
This one is a heritage property and located very near to the Aurobindo ashram. Food is also awesome. Special thanks to Aswathy for her service. We stayed in the suite which has a duplex structure. Only thing I didn't like is that being a member of Sarovar I had to pay extra for the kids where hotel did not provide any extra bed.
Had a really lovely experience at the Le Dupleix. We stayed in the suite that accommodates 3 with a loft (Room 7). A beautiful room with all the markings of a heritage French building. The location of the hotel is fantastic and every prominent touristy place in Pondicherry can be reached within a 5-7 min walk. The breakfast platter was sumptuous and the portions were filling. The vibe of the place is what really impressed us. It’s more like a home than a hotel and the staff really contributed to this feeling. A special shout-out to Padmini (room service), Babu, Bala, Aishvarya and Ipshita for their exemplary service. Would love to visit again!
Thanks to front office Ms.Sunitha for her hospitality and warm welcome. Best place to relax near to pondy beach.. staff were polite and made necessary help for a better stay.. good food and pleasant stay.. enjoyed the day with LA Dupleix..
I had booked two rooms. Suitable at reception have been very thoughtful and looking at my parents she provided a ground floor room as the hotel is a heritage one there are no lifts. We were given a free upgrade to the penthouse room in third floor. The room was huge fully glass room with wooden very beautifully crafted ceilings. The room also had a pretty little sit out with tables Sofa sets . The ground floor room was a huge one with double height ceilings and a very high bed with bed posts.Only drawback in this room was the toilet was leaking and this room dint have a full size mirror except in the toilet. Decor : the hotel had very beautiful decor there were many nooks and corners which provided perfect background for photos. There was also a special cute iron table chair for photos outside the hotel where people could take pictures even if you don't stay there. The entrance gate is full of long green creepers which again gave a very beautiful backdrop for pictures. Food : very delicious and hot food with good variety. If you stay here u don't have to go out for food. Also it had an open dining area which was awesome for evening and night. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and special thanks to Sunita for all her help and her pleasant demeanor really appreciate that…
Just before the start of school we decided to holiday and booked this beautiful place. Its the old French colonial buildings which reminded me of my good old school buildings. The property is beautiful. The stay is very comfortable the rooms are spacious and have the old world charm. Service is excellent and the staff is extremely courteous and friendly. The hotels serves up some really delicious food. The mango fiesta and lobster night are something not to miss. Its a 2-3 minute walk to rock beach, the park and the bazaar. So a lot of interesting things nearby. The only thing I would suggest is having a games room for the kids to be entertained.
The property is centrally located , rooms are big and cosy, ambience is quite good and all the staff is always smiling and ready to help. We really had a superb stay for 2 nights. Special thanks to Miss Sunita and Nizam Sir for their cooperation.
The rooms were spacious and the decorum was mind-blowing. The food and services were great. The hotel staff are pleasant and polite. All the facilities was great. Had a memorable stay. The hotel is always busy on weekends. We are planning again on weekdays.
A lovely old house converted into a 13 room boutique hotel. Great food and courteous staff. Clean and well maintained old worl charm. A hotel with some style and character. Not great for children and old people. No wheelchair access. No elevator. Bathroom old fashioned
