I had arranged my daughter’s first birthday party at Accord Puducherry and my evening was so enchanting and memorable. The co-ordinator Mrs.Priya helped me a lot through the process of selecting a suitable hall, the menu, the seating arrangement, projector, stage etc. She is very approachable and tries to arrange the best possible thing to suit your requirements. I had booked only one part of the hall, as the other side was booked for some other meeting. But to my utmost delight, I was given the entire full hall during the event as the other meeting got over early. That provided a lot of carpeted space for kids to roll n play. The hall itself looked so beautiful with the lights and carpet and covered chairs etc. The food was very tasty and well cooked and in plentiful amount. The food was served almost till 10:30 PM, so even the late arriving guests were taken care of. The complimentary welcome drink “Fruit Punch” was delicious as well. Service from the staff side was also good. They had provided me a complimentary hotel room (during the full event) for getting ready, keeping my stuff etc and that was so essential specially with a baby of 1 year. The final bill had 8 people extra than what I had paid advance for. But they didn’t charge me for those extra plates. That was so considerate on their part. Apart from all the good things, the decorator Shakthi did not provide the design that we had selected. He decorated only on the stage and main entrance, and not even a single balloon was placed on the walls or ceiling; even though it was there in the photo that we selected. That’s why a birthday vibe was missing from the hall. The anchor MC Uma conducted nice interactive games for all the kids and adults etc and all guests were involved. But I was shocked to see that she called several of her family members for having a free dinner at my cost. Also, she took one of the return gifts even before my guests had chosen what they want. I had purchased expensive exotic plants for my guests, and it was precisely counted by the number of guests. But she took one of those plants without my approval, and one of my guests didn’t get a return gift. That’s the most unprofessional attitude I have ever seen.
Overall I had a great experience with Hotel Accord and definitely recommend to all for arranging any event. They will provide the best u need. But don’t book that decorator Shakthi or that fleecing anchor MC Uma.

I had planned a 5-Day Pondicherry vacation for my brother and his wife, and I choose The Accord Pondicherry because I saw the photos and the description of the hotel online. I wasn't at all disappointed with my brother's experience during his stay. He told me that the hotel is beautiful and the services are very professional. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and the food was delicious. Room service staff had taken all precautions regarding COVID-19 while servicing the room and the hotel transport used from Chennai Airport to Pondicherry was very convenient. I'd definitely stay at the Accord Pondicherry for my next visit based on this experience.

To begin with our experience, we were really worried about travelling during pandemic, with all doubts, reading multiple reviews, we booked accord Puducherry for 2 nights, we travelled as family, we were 4 adults and 2 kids , one kid is 6 month old and other one is 1 and half years old .
We initially had a lil issues during the booking using Goibibo, though we dint find goibibo helpful,the hotel provied their support as much as they could.
Mr.William front desk manager helped us through this process And also made sure we had a pleasant stay
Spl mention to the house keeping team especially Mr.satish and Mr sam , who has been a great support throughout the stay, since we took our kids to the stay, the room got messy quickly, the house keeping team came everytime as soon as we called without any hesitation and cleaned the room.
Also the restaurant provided spl foods and fruits as per our requests for the babies every time we asked.
To conclude the stay, I would definitely say I will suggest this place for my family and friends without a doubt.

The Deluxe Suite is very tidy, aesthetic and comfortable. Stayed here for a night.
Breakfast was delicious and the menu had the right mix of items to satisfy travelers from any corner, without leading to too much wastage unlike other hotels.
Staff at all levels of management were polite, friendly and very knowledgeable of the workings of the hotel. That includes Doormen & Bell Boys.
The Bathroom at the Deluxe Suite needs maintenance across the board. The Floor near the Toilet is sloped wrong and hence any spillage doesn't reach the drain and forms puddles at the opposite end.
All drains are connected in such a way that draining the Tub causes foaming st the other drains in the bathroom. Atleast 3 Doormats need to be placed separately for the Tub, Toilet and the Shower to prevent these drain issues from wetting the entire bathroom.

We live in UAE, one of my nephew marriage reception was organised in Hotel Accord, Pondy on 26th November 2020. As the situation is bad for travel due to covid we could not attend the marriage & we decided to check with hotel reception for Banquet service & the service best ever we came across. Ms.SathyaPriya who was handling our request was extremely supportive through out this service even though there was Nivar cyclone which crossed closed to Pondy same day, she kept the update flowing to us & she was impressive with her support to client.
We are extremely happy with hotel service & Ms.Sathyapriya.

Room : comfy bed, great AC, TV with all channels, good size room, bathrooms. We got Swim facing room, what a bonus ✌️
F&B : jaw-dropping breakfast 🥞🍲🍵🧇🍵🍛🥪🍹
South Indian, to continental, to North Indian all pretty good lineup.
We requested our kids are sleeping during the breakfast slot, they said to tell us what they eat, and we will send food to your room. Now, this is WoW 🤩
Security : Decent, alert, and so helpful staff, arranged auto / taxi drives every time for us, negotiated the rates, always greet with smile 😊
Housekeeping : called them late eve for TV remote settings, shifting beds, getting basic toiletries, every staff, every time they served us with great customer service with a smile and are too humble to speak 😊
Reception Team: from guidance to eating out, travel, places to go, and arrange a taxi, and chocolates for kids at late night, they had an answer to everything want a tourist want. And 100% of their guidance has been spot on, which saved us so much time ⏰/ money 💰

Excellent service at Accord Puducherry, especially by house-keeping staff Mr. Murali. We had an elderly person traveling with us. He was extremely kind, and helped her use the kettle, make tea and gave her the requested toiletries. He went above and beyond in his service, and was available during the entire day. Kudos to him, and the hotel!

stay and food facilities are good enough. transport of taxi facility is available at door step. In and arround tour guide and facilitation of prior booking of tourist location are available. Sea food and fashinated food are tasty.

Chidambaram is an easy day trip from Pondicherry. You can add Pichavaram to that day trip too.
Kumbakonam is also possible separately as a day trip, but there are a few nice places to stay the night. Evenings in the temples at Gangaicondacholapueam or Darasuram can be worth staying the night for.
