This place has new owners from a few months ago, and they are doing a great job. It's slightly further from the tourist centre, but this makes it peaceful and quieter (by India standards!). It's a great place to stay. Pros Wonderful hosts Large clean rooms Lovely roof terrace Quieter location Close to tourist spot Hot water Cons. None

Loved the stay thanks to the great host. Wishing her all the best. Nice, clean, spacious rooms, with windows. Value for money. To set the expectations right, it is not a hotel,it is a guest house. Though it was one night stay this time, we will come back with family for a longer stay next time.

Good : WiFi , free bikes , roof top terrace , kitchen , big room , good beds Not so good : We had the room GF1 - at 8 am it was loud because the reception was next to us. The cleaning lady was shouting from 8 am. It’s also a generator next to this room (outside) and at 4 am he start working. Worst part was the laundry. We travel since 3 month and use the first time the washing machine. After using two of my shirts have rust spots.. we tell this the cleaning lady and she only smiling all the time. We also ask the staff to help us in this case , because we paid 200 rupees per machine. They didn’t help us in a good way and we are really disappointing. Also we hang out some clothes from us ( from the washing machine) at the front of our terrace, but the cleaning lady decided to threw to clothes down - we ask her why she did that , she said she need the line! One of the stuff ( older guy ) ask us all the time if we want to pay, he force us. In total the staff ( 2 from 3 ) are unfriendly!

Clean and Neat place well kept But Zero Amenities if you drop in in the morning No provision of Breakfast or Tea So your stranded. Make it yourself or call from a restaurant For RS 200 not worth it. Many things shown on bookings.com by the owner are not there. Such as visions on the beach beds or books to read on the shelf. No ingredients to make your own tea or coffee in the morning the basics which you require. Do not recommend if you come on vacation.

This is backpackers paradise( make your own porridge in a kitchen on the roof ). Wonderful roof terrace with hammock, and top terrace with sun beds. B and B( OK ). Big draw back is location. Just out of centre ( not walking distance ) and absolutely no restaurants / bars in area. Hence, need for auto in to Pudicherry to eat at night. Location in side alley, so problem for some drivers. Room basic, no storage space, and balcony with chairs. All OK.Be prepared to flush loo by filling bucket with water from conveniently located tap.
