Villa Krish is a charming boutique hotel set in the middle of White town .It is a great location for walking to restaurants cafes and shop without the need for transport. The hotel was clean and well equipped with everything you need. We had a balcony on our room which was a bonus. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are basic but adequate catering for both Indian and continental tastes. Although the rooms aren't large for a 3 star hotel it felt more like a 4 star. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a room at the front of the hotel with a balcony. The room was clean and comfortable and everything worked. The breakfast in the roof top restaurant was okay (they do nice omelettes on request) and we enjoyed a nice dinner there one evening (with beer). The staff are all friendly and helpful and it feels like the staff all work well together as a team. The location was good, close to the beach front (though we were a little disappointed with the beach, there is a nice cafe there near to the Ghandi statue). Also within the French part of Pondicherry but again, we were a little disappointed with this as there are only really 4 streets of the colonial part. Mr Robin, manager, was particularly helpful - he took us to the train station and helped us to buy the tickets. The swimming pool is inside and very small (we didn’t use this). Overall a very good experience and would recommend.

We visited Puducherry for two days in last week of June 2022. This small hotel is very well located, near seashore, within walking distance of all important tourist attractions. It is very clean and well maintained, managed by a very helpful and hospitable Mr. Robinson Thomas. They have a rooftop restaurant which is quite nice - again a small joint. One drawback - there is no parking space on the property, and with very small roads it is vexacious to find parking nearby.

Those giving high rating of this lodge, think again...please don't misguide others. My 3 days 2 night stay review - Only good thing about this place is its location in white town. Its probably the smallest/cramped hotel we ever stayed (didn't realized by the good ratings in Agoda & here). Average guest service or rather absent, from a tourist place like this. No smile, no proactive ness, no warmth in their attitude. Small rooms against what the price they charging. Surroundings not kept clean, we can see dirty used plates left around corridor for more than a day. Though the hotel was informed the time of our arrival few hours back on the day, room was not kept ready. Rather insisting we having our lunch at their restaurant while they prepare our room. We rejected and demanded the room immediately as this was way after their check-in time. Then found Manager don't know or ignored we had booked extra bed. Great proactiveness and service!! Then we tried their restaurant as some good review comment given by the people. Its a small 10 people roof top place, with extremely limited food options, rather looked like a Snack & Bar joint. Items priced up, while tastes quite poor. Waste of money!! Had to order food from Zomato. Then comes breakfast. Not even told, rather had to ask, where is the breakfast place. For that we have to walk down to their another nearby property and options there idly/Vada/bread/frozen snacks/egg and it exactly repeated for the 2 days we stayed there. Already realized made a big mistake to book this property and Agoda/google failing me to choose this, by showing high rating. Avoid!! Its a lodge. Advice to Hotel to change or train their front end staff/Manager. Much better options available around as we found out. Also realized white town have become quite dirty and commercialized, with open defection around. Better to choose professionally managed star hotels and avoid these Heritage hotels unless they get their acts right to understand someday people will reject their location advantage and chose comfort, cleanliness and guest service.

So the only vest part of this villa is the location. I and my wife stayed in this villa for 3 days. For first two days we were given a room on 1st floor. That room was ok not great but we managed. Then on the third day the manager requested us to move to a different room (301) on 3rd floor because there was a guest who needed a room with two separate beds and my previous room had that. On 3rd floor it is impossible to sleep because above that room is the roof and kitchen and they make hell lot of noise. Food was ok but once in breakfast I found a small cockroach in the Vada. Paint in the rooms were all coming out. Also they have a roof top restaurant but it’s not nice because Pondi is always hot and the restaurant is open from everywhere so you will have crows coming on your table and it gets hot so it is difficult to eat.

Ac not working, wifi not working, hotel staffs wants to come everything into the room to check what happens as I am a solo traveller I don't feel I am open to this. Horrible food and rude service and treatment. Minting money from traveller's like anything.

This place is not like how it is in photos posted by them. The rooms are very claustrophobic with no proper ventilation with old beds all springs popping out and not so clean linen too. The food.ie breakfast is not to the mark either..The last day of our stay was kind of creepy as the fan started making loud noises even when turned off..when mentioned about it to the manager..he had nothing to say.I strongly don't recommend this place as they are under construction n too much of drilling noise..complete nuisance.

Very helpful staff. Right in the middle of town..easy access to any place in pondicherry. Very comfortable beds. Lakshmi was very cooperative and made sure all our needs were met. All the restaurants and ashram as well as the beach are close by

Hotel in a good location, within short distances of everything you should see in Pondicherry: the waterfront, the city center, shops, restaurants and many beautiful houses and parks. The house undoubtedly still had some of the French charm but unfortunately also the problems of the old town buildings there. If two people met in the hallway with a suitcase each, it became problematic. The elevator did not have an exit on all floors. We had a pleasantly decorated room with a balcony but here too it was cramped: namely our bed. The fact that we did not sleep quite optimally was also due to the fact that it was very loud at night in the narrow street leading past the house (pedestrian zone) due to the music and the people who were making noise here. Thanks to earplugs, things got a little better on the second night. It was very nice in the morning at breakfast on the roof terrace. Great view. The buffet was a bit sparse and the service was also extremely reserved (sleep deficit?). But we were full.

Villa krish one of cozy villa in Puducherry. We had stayed three nights that's was good experience. Location is very good in White town, walking distance to Church and beach. The room is big with modern washroom. Our room was with balcony and complimentary breakfast. But you have to go another property namely Villa du ocean for buffet breakfast. They provides tea/coffee maker in room. They have rooftop restaurant with bar. Prawn quality was very good. Food price is little bit of high. The manager Mr. Robinson was very gentle. He offered bike for local travelling in rent. We enjoyed very much. Recommended to all to stay.
