On my recent visit to Pondicherry, I stayed at this guesthouse for 3 nights. I was actually looking for some other guesthouse but all were already booked due to Christmas season. And since I wanted to stay only in the White Town area, I chose this one for my stay. I was on a solo trip so, I was OK with a small room as well. The owner provided me with a small little room on the ground floor. The room was decent with all basic amenities. It had a sit-out as well with chairs and table. The room itself was clean with good bed and a mosquito-net as well. A/C was working well. No TV (and was not required as well). Bathroom was neat and clean, with more of a old-style bathroom feeling. The guesthouse itself is built like a heritage house so the overall appearance was typical French house that one expects in the White Town of Pondicherry. The guesthouse has a lot of greenery. A lot of trees and also a lot of antique artifacts placed at different places. It really gives a good feeling. The staff is well-behaved. The owner is talkative as well. The guesthouse does not have in-house restaurant but they provide breakfast if we place a request at least one day in advance. The guesthouse has a common area where one can sit and have a cup of tea/coffee, breakfast or chit-chat/read etc. Being in the White Town area, all the places are at the walking distance. There are multiple restaurants, cafes nearby. It's a totally different vibe altogether once you come out of the guesthouse. However, once you enter the guesthouse, it is all calm and peaceful. I had a good stay at the guesthouse. No major complaints. However, I would expect a complimentary breakfast with the charges they asked for a night stay.

This is a fabulous place to stay. Very quiet area in the French quarter and close to all the shops and cafes. The staff are very friendly and Sabine is very helpful making sure your stay is the best it can be. The room was very spacious with lovely hot water although in February you very rarely need it. Superb and a must stay guesthouse.

An oasis of tranquility and kindness very well located in the white city..I loved this place, I felt "at home".Sabine and her employees are very attentive..always available to give you everything good deals on Pondicherry (massages etc...) there. decor is superb, the breakfast very good (the croissants at the top!)....the lush vegetation...I would come back with great pleasure..Thank you🙏

We spent 4 great nights in this guesthouse. The room is spacious and well equipped. The bedding is comfortable. It was very clean. The staff is very kind, they were full of beautiful attention for Christmas. The location is ideal, quiet but close to all restaurants, beach and shops. The French breakfast was excellent! I highly recommend!

We went as two families and got connected rooms. We booked the 'La familiale' and 'la romantique'. La familale has a sitout and a spacious bedroom.. while the other room had a private verandah but room as such was small.. Overall with the sitout, private verandah and comfortable beds, we had an amazing time.. Its really close to the beach, also close to most popular french restaurents and prominent places in pondy..Its inside the french colonies.. May not be the most luxurious stay in pondy but for the price its completely worth.. Special mention to Sabine & sangeetha who were really helpful..

They serve a good breakfast : omelette, croissant and coffee. I can’t remember whether that was included in the room charge or at extra cost. I don’t think they serve other meals but if you are there you could ask them. Pondicherry has lots of restaurants anyway.
