Fletcher advertises with great deals: €14.95 pp for an overnight stay, and optional €35 extra for breakfast and dinner. You must book in advance (max 28 days before your booking date), but it is opaque which hotels are available for this deal and when. In fact, when we wanted to book, not a single room was available in the entire country. This is a warning for potential buyers of the package: it is really too good to be true. Don't fall for it. We asked Fletcher for a refund but that was categorically refused. Even reimbursement for the food not ordered (because you have to find a room first....) was out of the question.
The hotel is pretty big and clean , it has all the facilities you need , rooms are also big and clean , the stuff was nice , for aure a place to come back at a good price . For everything you get at your stay it is very good price .
Stayed here on business. Booked as part of the entertainment package, travelled from the UK. Fabulous hosting, great room, restaurant and bar were first class. Can't wait to return in 2023. Great hotel, recommended highly.
Stayed here on business for 4 nights. Room and hotel in general was very nice, clean and tidy. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. The food available in the restaurant in the evenings was good. The breakfast options were very limited and could be improved on. Overall a great stay made comfortable.
24 hour check in Lots of parking and easily accessible Breakfast pretty standard Good curtains which blocked out the lights (as we were abound the signage) However, - not very sound proof. Could hear everything from the room above -housekeeping could not make the beds right- looked a mess still be warned…. Only stay in a room with someone you are very comfortable me with…. The wall between the bathroom and main room is glass. U can see everything that goes in the shower
I stayed in room 305 on the back of the hotel. I did not have a nice view per se, but it was quiet and suited me fine. The room was exceptionally clean and the cleaners even left me a message to say that if I need anything I must just ask! Great touch. The room was big with a comfy chair and a table and chair. It had a kettle with coffee, tea and creamers. It also had a nice fridge. The bathroom had a lovely shower. The swimming pool is in the basement. It was so clean and the water warm. I had a great swim! I enjoyed the breakfast which served bacon, wee omelet eggs, cooked eggs, fresh croissants, all the jams you could think off, bread, juice, water, cold meats and cheese, yoghurt and fruit and american pancakes! So well presented and tasty. My evening meal was out of this world. See my photos! Absolutely perfect in every way. KLM lost my suitcase. The front desk staff tried everything to help me settle in (providing me with toiletries) and phoning KLM regularily to find out where my suitcase were. The staff in this hotel are friendly, kind, helpful, respectful and so gracious. To reach the hotel is very easy. From Utrecht central station you go to the bus terminus C in the station (there is also a terminus D). You go to notice board and see where bus 74 stops. Do not take bus 77. bus 74 says “Direction: Zeist”. You get out at “Poort van Nieuwegein” which would be the approximate 13th stop! Takes about 30 minutes. Over the weekend you pay about £3.88 (depending on exchange rate) for a return ticket by debit card in the bus as you enter! I want thank Rick, Reima, Dominique, Natalie, Jani, two cleaning ladies and all the rest for your excellent service. I will be back! …
Stayed here last year during a business trip and really enjoyed it. I mean, the breakfast could be improved in so many ways but the choices available for dinner was great. Location was convenient enough for us and it's probably the only decent hotel in the area. This year, however, was not the same. The room was still great, clean, and the hotel amenities were the same as well and I have no issues whatsoever with those. But breakfast choices were not great, and dinner's quality had dropped immensely. Knowing that I was going to come back to this hotel I was very much looking forward to having dinners there but now...not so much. Something also happened that I struggled to comprehend. At checkout I was charged Euro6.50 for a 'drink at the bar'.. but the thing is, I did not get anything from the bar. Even the staff was unable to point out what exactly I ordered from the bar and it didnt say in the receipt. Unless of course, the night before I did ask for a bottle of water (which any normal hotel should've provided in the room). But what made this case special is that, I was told to PICK UP the water from the reception myself. And it was tap water in a bottle! I have zero problems with tap water, I love it. But if the Euro6.50 was for a tap water I had to pick up myself from the reception... I'm not sure I'd call that 'service'. Again, its the only decent hotel in the area so I'll probably be back. Just with a much lower expectation next time and hope the service improves.…
I have stayed at this hotel every year for about the last 5 years, always thought of it as being very good but I have now changed my mind, The breakfast choice has been reduced, less hot food on offer, no cereals !! the worse thing was the fact its a large hotel & they shut the bar at 11pm on both thursday & friday night even though they say it will stay open till 1am, a lot of us (approx 30) stay there because its close to a bowling tournament we play in every year & sometimes the bowling finishes at 11pm so when we come back to the hotel we cant get a drink, I am afraid a lot of us will find elsewhere to stay next year !!
Public transport right next to the hotel. It was very convenient for us as we were visiting family members in Nieuwegein. Personnel was nice and kind. The hotel is clean. We did not use the restaurant so we cannot comment on it.
Great business hotel, Well equiped rooms with comfortable beds, working place, a good shower and easy internet access. Breakfast not impressive from a diversity point of view, but sufficient.Staff extremely friendly and helpfull.
