My wife and I have just returned from a 7 night stay at the St George apartments in Los Cristianos. We found the studio apartment to be very comfortable and like the rest of the building to be kept and cleaned to a high standard. The apartments were very quiet at night and we slept very well. No problem getting our sun beds at the pool , always plenty available. We used the pool side bar a few times for drinks and food and found it to be reasonably priced with good service. The breakfast every morning had lots of choice with plenty of everything thing , the very helpful, well mannered staff kept everything well stocked up and worked very hard keeping the place very clean and making sure that their were always plenty of tables ready and available. The apartments are very well located for Los Cristianos and las America's, 3 supermarkets and 24 hour shop are all a few minutes away.We will definitely visit the St George again and look forward to doing so.

Great location, right in between LC and PLA, short walk down a gentle hill to the seafront with lots of bars and restaurants in easy reach. There are 2 good supermarkets close by with a 24 minimarket across the road. The pool area gets all day with lots of loungers and the pool attendant does an excellent job. The place is kept spotlessly clean and the offering at breakfast is very good, yes they perhaps use cheaper ingredients but the staff do a great job at making the best of them. The management clearly put strict rules in place and the staff are good at seeing them through; that might well deter some families with young children or some of the rowdier holiday makers but it makes it the ideal retreat for couples looking for relaxation. The rooms are fairly sparsley furnished, even the TV remote is an extra, and can get very warm with little ventilation other than the patio doors. Would definitely recommend for a fly and flop but if you need more, you'd be best looking elsewhere

Well what can I say about this little hotel
Personally I thought location was perfect. Away from all the noise of the strip there is a busy main Rd next to hotel but canā€™t hear it when patio doors are closed (winter) not sure how loud it would be in summer with doors open. No aircon but hired a fan again (winter). Cleaners are up at 7 but they work flatout until 2 pm so no complaints there. Hotel spotless clean poolside also. Breakfast the usual but you can fill you bellyā€™s. What more do u want itā€™s free!!!
There is a slight hill down to beach but if u want to go to the strip as you head out of hotel take a right straight away youā€™ll come to a Rd full of shops and restaurants and supermarkets turn left follow the road you come out by Best Hotel literally 4mins walk and is flat.
Staff at this hotel were amazing. Big shout to Federico this guys amazing
10euro deposit for tv remote and safe is 3euro per day. Poolside bar offers cheap food and drink I paid 4.50euro for burger and chips. It does shut at 6.30pm but like I said earlier there loads of bars behind hotel literally 1min walk
All in all an amazing holiday/hotel and Iā€™ve already priced for next year

Had a great time here.
The place is absolutely spotlessly clean in every area.
Upon arrival early evening we were checked in by the receptionist Luca. Now bearing in mind we have been on many a holiday this was the warmest and most friendly welcome we have ever received.
We were given a terrific room 403 with a large balcony with both pool and panoramic sea view.Beautiful.
Having quickly unpacked we ventured out.On our way out we asked Luca about a fan.He offered us an air con unit for what I thought a great price for our 2 weeks as without we simply wouldn't have slept in 25 degree night heat.
He ordered it and even set it up in our apartment when we were out having a meal.Care and service just incredible.(if you read this Luca I do hope the beach chair is comfy on your days down the beach šŸ˜‰)
Maid service fantastic with fresh towels everyday they came.Apartment fresh and clean perfectly.

The pool area was lovely with plenty of beds
The young pool attendant was terrific.Sprayed sun beds down with anti bacteria spray once guests had left the area due to the pandemic. Fabulous care yet again.
Pool bar was closed throughout our fortnight which I can only imagine would be smashing.
Maybe next time.

The breakfast was lovely too.Plenty on offer from fried breakfast to donuts and lovely fresh fruit.
Staff very friendly and attentive.Lucia always had a smile and looked happy to give an excellent service.

We thank every member of staff for how friendly they were. Its not always the case on some holidays and Saint George staff can be very proud of themselves.

The location is great too.
A short walk down the hill to the beaches bars and restaurants.
For those with any difficulties walking reception would be only too happy to book you a cheap taxi.
Taxis available all round the resorts so no problem getting about.

For the excellent price we payed and for what we received we will definitely be back.

All round spot on for us.

Just got back from a weeks stay with my boyfriend. We had a great stay in general and will definitely return. I will list the pros and cons out below.

Pros:
Great location- smack bang in middle of cristianos and americas
Rooms nice and quiet for sleeping, especially on 4th floor
Always get sun loungers at this time of year and they donā€™t let people reserve them with their towels
Nice big pool
Pool bar where you can get drinks and food at good price
Breakfast has a few options to select from and again not long queues
Big comfy beds in room
Balcony is spacious, looks like most if not all have sea views
Very clean
Staff mostly friendly, especially franco at breakfast and bar

Cons:

If you arrive when reception is closed (I think this is after 10pm but before 9am) you will have to ring the sister hotel and will be told you must pay for a taxi there and back to collect your room key, and then they will refund you the next morning

Rooms do not have air con. We just managed when weather was low/mid 20s but can imagine unbearable in height of summer. You can hire fan from reception I understand (although admittedly we are from Uk and not used to heat)

Too many extra charges eg 3 euros per day for safe, 8 euros for parking, 10 euros deposit for remote

Not many healthy options at breakfast at all unfortunately. You can get an omelette cooked to order but unfortunately the chef is not always there to do it

No 24 hour reception

Response from Saint George, Director General at Saint George
Responded 8 Jul 2022
Our reception is not 24/7, the regular timetable is 9:00 - 14:00 and 16:00 - 21:00, but when there are late arrivals we extend it so that we may cover them, even when there is a delay in the flight (for we check the updated information online). There are two cases when this may not be possible: when we don't have the information of the flight in the booking, in this case the customer should contact us in advance to inform us about the estimated arrival time so that we may make the necessary arrangements. Also, like in this case, when the flight is supposed to arrive at midnight but at the moment of finishing the shift there was still no definite information on the arrival time. It was not possible for us to have the receptionist wait for hours (and at night) without even knowing if the customers were going to arrive for sure, so she left the welcome pack at our sister property Marylanza, whose reception is available around the clock, which allowed them to check-in no matter the time.. This is something exceptional, for as previously indicated, we do our utmost to adapt to our customers' arrivals for their convenience.

For a week to chill in the sun, this is great!
It is spotlessly clean, and very well maintained.
The breakfast is ok, you can pick up bread and fruit yourself but have to be served hot and cold foods?? But again the breakfast room is kept very clean.
Itā€™s certainly not a fun factory! The poolside is extremely quiet and the pool is for cooling off in only! No games, music or inflatables!
The apartments are up a steep hill, so yes itā€™s only 5 mins from the beach if youā€™ve mobility issues this might not be the place for you.
For a cheap week chilling and recharging it was perfectā€¦.oh thereā€™s no aircon but you can hire a fan for ā‚¬20 a week

Just got back after 7 days in these apartments, its the first time we have gone self catering and loved it all. The only downside was the main road and the hill back up to the apartments. We had a one bedroom apartment right on the pool, it had everything we could have asked for. We did have to pay 3 euros a night for the safe and a 10 euro deposit for the remote control, was not worth getting the TV remote as only channel we had was BBC News. As there was no air conditioning we hired a tall fan for 20 euros from reception as it was very warm in the bedroom. The apartments were cleaned 5 days to a very good standard all the staff were lovely and said hello even the Gardnerā€™s. Bar only opens from 12 till 5.45 everyday. Instead of going down the hill at night we came out of the hotel, did a right at the side of the hotel and found little supermarket barā€™s restaurant. If you follow the road round to The Andora Hotel and do a left walk down look to the right lots of live entertainment bars. Breakfast is 8 till 11 lovely little restaurant with fruit pastries, fresh omeletteā€™s etc. I would like to thank all the staff for a very relaxing holiday šŸ˜Ž

Iā€™ll start with the the positives , rooms spacious and very clean , rooms cleaned daily fresh towels daily if you want them ..
no kettle in room but if you ask for 1 at reception housekeeping staff will bring 1 ,
Breakfast is good plenty to pick from and staff very helpful .
Now for negatives ā€¦ you have to hire TV remote šŸ˜³ did get it back if you took remote back at end of stay , could only get sky news in English .
Safe was ā‚¬20 but you expect to pay that this was non refundable
No air con or fans we had to hire air con in which was another ā‚¬60 for the week would never have slept without it having said that the air con unit was noisy but did eventually sleep .
Pool opened at 10 closed at 6
The only bar in hotel opened at 12 and closed at 6 . Iā€™m sure the hotel would benefit from the bar being open longer into evening .
Plenty of sun-beds to go round , not suppose to reserve but people did ignore this rule to get same beds daily.
The hotel is on a steep hill which in the heat could be hard work .

Lovely hotel, great staff Fran the barman was fantastic, we all had a laugh and joke with him a very helpful and well mannered member of staff.Hotel itself was lovely rooms are decorated to a excellent standard, walk n showers were great for 2 people. Swimming pool was a good size and there was no need to rush for sunbeds as there was a policy which was no reserve for them. I would say only 30 to 40% of beds were taken so plenty to go around.
Breakfast was fantastic I loved the chorizo sausages can not remember how many I had but very tasty. Kitchen staff work very hard including the cleaners.
Working in that heat I take my hat off to them, daytime pool side bar was also great plenty of choice to have something to eat and my wife says cocktails were to die for and all very reasonable priced.
Only thing that lets the hotel down is air con , if they had air con I would defo go back but even at night with 2 fans going it still reached around 82 degrees in the bedroom.
If you suffer from any disability like I do regarding walking it's is a bit of a walk to go to the safari shopping centre and bars and restaurants and as soon as you come out of hotel you are met by a very steep hill, easy going down but coming back up is a killer for people with walking disabilities.
But you can hire double mobility scooters, we had seen a load of young and old people on them. Fantastic place called the loft if you turn left out of hotel is about a 8 minute walk but they serve fantastic food also there is a main shopping centre there as well.
There was no time entertainment which was a shame as the bar closed at 6pm so when you went out and came back to hotel there was no way of having a quiet drink beside the pool ( which I think the hotel need to look at) also bar opens at 12.00pm which is a bit late as some people were out at 9,30m on sunbeds and I am sure they would have welcomed a drink from the bar. Hotel could make a fortune if they opened the breakfast area at night for meals.

The first night we arrived at midnight and our room was like an oven, I have never sweated in bed before, we all hardly slept, our room was above the kitchen and a noisy motor turned on at about 4:30 in the morning making it even harder to sleep. Luckily for me I had pre-arranged with Mr Cool's Hire shop for a couple of portable air con units to be delivered the next day, these although noisy saved the holiday. You can also hire a fan from reception.

The appartments are nice and the staff are friendly. The breakfast area had a good selection of food, the coffee is terrible though. The pool is a good size and I never saw more than 30% of the sunbeds occupied, it is very relaxing there, sure there is a bit of road noise but not realy that bad. Floats are allowed in the pool contrary to what a previous reviewer said. The pool bar was great, food is available in the early afternoon at reasonable prices, also coctails.

The location is between Los Christianos and Playa, so you have a choice of what direction to go for food etc. Walking down the hill takes you to a massive beach. There is also a decent supermarket called Mercadona half way to the beach. There is a 24 hour shop up the hill, but it is expensive. Boat trips for whale and dolphin watching go from Los Christianos which is convenient as it is walkable.

It is hard to fault the place and the staff apart from it needs air con and may be a bit quiet for some people.

you need to give notice, the advice we were given was to buy a usb one from town - was about 15euros and worked really well... that was the end of April though so not sure about summer months - it was heatwave though about 18-22 degrees at night
