The Paloma Beach Apartments come highly recommended for their outstanding value, with guests appreciating the economical sunbed fees and pool bar prices set in a convenient location. The hotel's prime spot is a hit among travelers, offering easy access to beaches and local hotspots. Cleanliness is a strong suit, with spotless rooms and an immaculate pool area.
While the rooms are spacious and well-fitted, some visitors have mentioned issues with air conditioning. The friendly and helpful staff contribute to the welcoming atmosphere, though the night service has received mixed reviews.

Property's Favourite Review
Our 2nd visit was in September 2023 & we had chosen the penthouse plus & it was everything we expected it to be. Aircon, dishwasher, washing machine & terrace. The view was amazing, lovely comfortable double bed & if I had room in my case I would have accidentally packed the pillows as they were amazing. The complex is located close to the seafront of Los Cristianos so no hills but only a 5 minute walk to the harbour. We wouldn't go anywhere else

Stayed at the Palermo in January 2020 for 9 days.
We arrived early for check in but that wasn’t a problem and also got upgraded to a superior room, a great start to our holiday.
The apartment are in a very quiet location at the far end of Christianos & the staff are a good mix of European and Spanish.
The room we had was on the 3rd floor reached by a lift or stairs with a balcony overlooking the pool with sea views and was spotlessly clean with all the crockery & cutlery you need for self-catering with a kettle, toaster, grill, microwave & electric hobs etc. the towels are changed regularly & the sheets were changed once in 9 days which was fine for us. If you want them to change the bedding more often I think you can pay a small charge for that. Also a safety deposit box which comes with a charge. There is a shower and bath but the hot water only really lasted enough for one of us to shower and then went cold but then maybe it was just us who like a longer showers.
There is free Wi-Fi in the room and also by the bar and pool with very good signal strength. The large flat screen TV have some English channels but if you have a Netflix or Amazon Prime membership you can log in to watch their content.
There is a bar & restaurant by the pool which is run separate to the apartments & the prices for beer and food are reasonable and opens from 8.30 until midnight for drinks and from 8.30 until 4 and from 6.30 until 9 for food.
The pool and Jacuzzi water temperature was rather chilly when we were there and officially opens between 9 and 6 with a lifeguard present. Sunbeds are 2 Euros a day.
There are bars right outside of the apartments with the usual mix of karaoke, food and drinks also a Spanish owned bar directly in front of the gate which stays open until late most nights but closes Wednesdays. Also an Indian Restaurant and a large Hiper Dino supermarket close by which opens at 8.30 and closes at 10. Example restaurant price €14 Hiper Dino price €4 same bottle of wine. I also recommend the supermarkets freshly baked bread.
There is a taxi rank around 7 minutes’ walk by the roundabout and cost 3 euros for the first mile and then charged accordingly thereafter also a bus stop about 15 mins 1.5 km walk away. We booked with Booking.com and used their taxi service and paid £19 from the airport to the apartments and took around 15 minutes.
From the apartments to the airport they charged around £23 and you can book 5 minutes before you want to leave at reception and the taxi arrives at the back gate, very convenient.
All in all a very chilled holiday at the Paloma Beach Apartments the rooms are very clean as is the surrounding complex, the staff are great and the location perfect. We didn’t have any noise at night and at the pool side was quiet and relaxing. Been going to Tenerife for the last 40 years and staying in some dodgy places in Las Americas, Adeje etc. but I highly recommend this place.

When we arrived we had a room on the 15th floor which had excellent views, however the room was in desperate need of refurbishment; that said, as soon as the Manager of the block became aware of our concerns, he offered us a replacement room. We switched to a room on the 10th floor which had stunning views across the bay to the East all the way round across the harbour up to Mount Teide. The room and furniture was very clean and as expected, and all the appliances and amenities worked OK. We visited in the last week of February 2020, and there was adequate parking in a secure underground car park for which you can request a keyfob from the reception. The reception is located on the ground floor and there is a well stocked Iceland supermarket on the same level. There is also a sports bar "Legends" located on the same floor, which appeared busy most of the time, but did not interfere with our stay. The pool area is large and includes a children's paddling pool. It has plenty of space and catches the sun right through the day; it is also possible to access the promenade via a locked gate for which we were given a key on arrival. The beach area in front of the hotel is great for snorkelling ! There is no restaurant within the complex, but directly across the road there is a small strip of about eight restaurants, including pizza, sports bar restaurant, Chinese, Indian and traditional English menus such as roasts etc, and all appeared good value for money.
There was not a safe in either of our rooms, but you can hire a safety deposit box in reception which has 24/7 access, although it is only really large enough for documents and something like a Surface Pro.

Bar was friendly & convenient ( I dont mind paying a bit more - but was charged +4€ to add a sharing plate for 9.5€ portion of scampi & chips. Total price  14.5€ for 5 pieces of overdone scampi & 1 std portion of chips. Cheesburger was bog standard greasy burger too. Not wishing to cause bad feeling, we said nothing)
Great value, location, facilities ( didnt need air con & it was 28c). Friendly staff - nice pool. Quiet and spacious. Will return hopefully. Comfy beds & great shower. Room was basic, but good for the money. Little touches like tea towels/toaster/ washing up liquid & tea towels are thoughtful and saves a shopping trip. Great supermarket next door

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Paloma Beach.
We actually ended up booking this on the day due to a shocking hotel we turned up to through our travel agent... Anyway that's another review!
Paloma beach accommodated us very quickly (within 2 hours) and the apartment was very clean, comfortable and pool area kept very well maintained.
The lifeguards and pool bar staff were fantastic and the food at the pool bar had a good selection available. Toasties and sangria were great!
My only criticism was that the pool is advertised as heated but most certainly isn't. Also, it was disappointing that after spending alot of money on the room you still had to pay €2 per sunbed per day.
Because of that I gave 4 stars and not 5.
That aside all was fine and we left feeling happy we made the right choice moving apartments to Paloma Beach.

We booked a standard apartment which was perfectly fine and comfortable. Towels were changed and bins emptied every 2/3 days. Linen changed weekly. The location is great if you prefer a quieter area. Having said that there are plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The promenade is across the road and it's possible to walk for miles along the coast if you want, with plenty of shops and restaurants on the way.The main area of Los Cristianos is 10/15 minute walk away as is the bus station. The bus service is very good and you can get to many places on the island and the cost is very reasonable. There is sufficient space for sunbathing at the complex if you want a chill out day. We would certainly stay at the complex again.

We had an amazing 10 day stay here. Checking in and checking out is so easy. The staff are all super friendly. The room we stayed in was so clean and got new towels every 2/3rd day. Our room looked over the pool which was great. The facilities in our room were good. Great that there was a hair dryer there. We hired a portable cot through the apartment and it was really good, it was set up for us by the time we arrived. They have great facilities if you need to plug in a mobility scooter.
Location is perfect, there are two supermarkets very close to the apartments, heaps of eating places although there is one by reception that was always busy, markets that are open Sunday and Tuesday and highly recommend you walk along the beach boardwalk and follow it for as long as you want.
Would easily stay here again!

These apartments are very nice and well maintained and the staff in reception and the cafe are lovely BUT it is definitely not a good place for families with children. The pool is smallish and there are no inflatables or balls allowed. Indeed, no ball games are allowed anywhere. All sunbeds by the pool have to be paid for and the playground area is tiny (and no ball games are allowed even in there). many of the apartments are owner occupied and the owners don't take kindly to visiting families. Our children were shouted at for playing 'catch' in the shallow end of the pool with a bean-bag and for throwing a beach ball to each other in the play area. One child from another family was so frightened by the castigation that he dare not go back in the pool. The resort is also ill-named. It is certainly on the coast but is a good 15 minute walk from a proper sandy beach suitable for children. The resort is clearly ideal for adults who wish to swim quiet lengths in the pool and go for coastal walks but is a million miles from being 'family friendly'.

Thanks for your review, unfortunately we can't control the conduct of other grumpy people who like to be a kill joy. Our pool is one of the largest in Los Cristianos, there aren't any inflatables allowed for safety reasons and ball games are also not allowed as they can be annoying for other guests. We have no control over the name of the building, we do describe where the nearest "sandy" beach is (despite there being a pebble beach right in front of us) - however if we're badly names then "Castle Harbour" are in in trouble for not being a castle or near a harbour.... "Port Royale Apartments" isn't a Royal Port .... "Beverley Hills" is just a place in Los Cristianos.... etc etc...... Thanks again for your review. Kind regards John

We arrived on the 10th Feb for a 10 night stay. The complex is in a quiet location along by the Arona Gran and is a 5/10 minute walk down to the seafront where you can stroll along to lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment was a superior and was fairly large. It included a full kitchen, big tv, good quality free wi-fi, comfortable living and bedroom area. No aircon in the living area but available in the bedroom. Some apartments may differ. The complex has a bar restaurant with good prices by a large pool, which may have been heated slightly as wasn't too cold. Sunbeds are available at €2 per bed anytime you needed one. There was plenty available.
The reception is not 24 hour so if you arrive late there is someone on hand to give you your room key. You will then go down to reception the following morning to do your check in.
The hotel complex may be a bit away from the centre but its only a short walk (10 mins) to the town bars, restaurants and shops, and a 10 minute stroll on the seafront to the bars and restaurants down there. You are also a couple of minutes walk to the Los Cris market on a Sunday and Tuesday. There is a taxi rank just along from the market grounds.
Overall we would definitely consider using this apartment complex on another visit to Los Cristianos, no problem.

My family and I stayed at the Paloma Beach Apartments for 2 weeks comm.,31 January. I booked a 2 bed apartment as there were 5 of us. The rooms are very spacious (they dont build them that big anymore) the apartments are fitted with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed linnen and towels are changed very frequently. I have read some quite critical reviews on this site, which I think, were quite OTT. I have stayed there on a few previous occasions and I can honestly say, if you find, as I have in the past any problems with the rooms you need only report it to reception and it is taken care of immediately. I have also booked a fortnight for next year and am quite confident our stay will be as good as ever.

Yes, no problems at all, very clear instructions, enjoy.
From memory, BBC1 & 2, ITV1, 2, 3 & 4, some have +1, channel 4, plus some others., don’t think we had channel 5.
It cost me 10 euro for 5 nights
Not stayed in penthouse but the superiors are very nice decorated and have all you need, I believe all apartments apart from ground/basement have some sea view, penthouse are perhaps at the top of the building where the view would be unobstructed
