I am currently holidaying at this hotel and am totally disgusted with the attitude of the staff. After complaining about guest squirting water at an elderly couple who were minding their own business I told manager and they have done nothing to help these elderly guests. Everyone at the pool were disgusted at these four drunk and incapable girls and to allow them to carry on is a disgrace. I have been here 5times but will not be coming back as this is not what I expect management to allow actions of 4girls to disrupt a poolside full of guest.

Hotel's Favourite
We have just had the best time at Sol Arona. All areas lovely and clean, sanitiser everywhere for use. Maids cleaned on a daily basis. Pool also very clean and always sun loungers available, life guard was sanitising loungers when people left ready for new people. Lovely activities in the day for the kids at the pool. My son had a bash of heads which caused a nose bleed, the life guard immediately dealt with it and another lady from hotel came to make sure he was ok and helped with first aid. So professional and caring. Food in restaurant was lovely, brilliant variety for adults and children. Lovely selection of fresh salads, cheeses, meats and breads, along with lovely hot dishes and speciality foods. Bar outside all friendly and helpful, singer every evening. Mini golf also a hit! Reception staff and temperature checks when entering brilliant. Reception also happy to print off covid certs and other paperwork for return home. Thank you Sol Arona. Would definitely recommend.

Great hotel for a cheap break away. The outside doesn’t look great but we knew this from the pictures, Inside is modern we were also upgraded free of charge which was lovely. We were on floor 14 with air con. The view was amazing and you definitely don’t feel unsafe on the balcony. All staff have been good and helpful. Pool area is decent , evening entertainment is ok, leaves a little to be desired but Atleast there is something. We stayed half board and I would say breakfast is better than the evening meal although for a 3 star hotel I wouldn’t say it was bad. It is a bit limited for vegans or dairy or gluten free diets. We did eat our a few times as there are so many lovely restaurants so close by. Hotel is a great location, a few minutes walk to the main promenade with shops, bars and restaurants. We also walked to las americas and costa adeje from here. I think you get what you pay for, it’s a 3 star hotel in a great location for the money. It is a little dated but not badly. We got a great deal on this break and more than happy With what we paid versus value for money.

A great hotel in a convenient location that we have returned to year after year - sometimes twice a year and now a favourite with our friends too. The hotel is very good value for money, the rooms are a little dated but spotlessly clean & a decent size, good storage & contain everything you need - including a kettle! We stay on the HB basis and find the breakfast & evening dinner offer a great variety of food with something for everyone. The staff are friendly, hard working and helpful. A lovely touch when we returned to our room to find a bottle of fizz & 2 glasses for my husbands birthday even though we hadn't told anyone it was his birthday! Keep up the good work - we look forward to returning again next week 😊

I came back from a 4 night stay with my friend on a bed and breakfast basis. Firstly this Hotel is spotless inside and out. Upon arrival we upgraded to an Xtra room which had a sea view, bathrobe slippers and a few extras. The cleaner came in everyday and she was so lovely as were all the hotel staff. The breakfast was great and lots of choice for anyone. It's closely located to the beachfront less than a 5 mins walk to the restaurants and also the market on a Sunday and Tuesday is less than a 10 min walk. All in all I have nothing bad to say about this Hotel. It is genuinely the first 3 star hotel that I have stayed in that I would gladly and happily stay in again. Big shout out also to the barman downstairs where the live music is every night at 8.30. He was such a lovely guy and really looked after us. Brilliant hotel, brilliant staff and will be coming back again!

It is our last day today - gutted to be leaving. We are here as a family: 2 adults & 2 kids (8 and 12). We are all inclusive. I was worried before we came out. I need not have been! Ok - so we’ve been to better places but I paid £2k for a week AL in half term. A few things: we upgraded the room to get air con. Unfortunately the weather has been dire so we’ve not had it on once. The air con is only in the living room where the kids are sleeping. We have a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The view is spectacular! We are on floor 9. The beds - I normally struggle with beds but these are fine. A little hard and the kids are in a double sofa bed. Don’t know how many more times they will do that! Two massive wardrobes, drawers and plenty of storage. Balcony is tiny but they all seem to be in Los Cristianos. Bathroom is huge with a shower over the bath. Water pressure is lovely. Room: 7/10 The maid cleaned every day and we got new bedding and towels twice. Food - this was my biggest concern. Breakfast was ok. Dinner wasn’t great - we ate out every night except one. Lunch was ok. I’d give food 4/10 There is pool bar serving food - this wasn’t great. 2/10 Drinks: lovely beer, wine, slushes, cocktails, nice coffee, orange juice not good. My son doesn’t like fizzy pop so next time I’ll bring cordial for him. The cava is lovely! 7/10 Pool : lovely big pool area and a great little one foe the tiny tots. Sun beds are comfortable and we never struggled to get a bed. There were no towel wars! The pool is not heated! It was cold. You can take small inflatables into the water. There is a life guard on duty. 7/10 You can’t smoke around the pool. There is a smoking zone just next to the bar. Beach towels : we rented them from the pool. €20 each towel and if you wanted them cleaned it is €1 per towel. I’ll bring my own next time! Crazy golf for the kids and pool tables dotted around. The best thing about the hotel is the location! A five minute walk and you are on the main strip and by the beach. We ate out and some amazing restaurants. My OH was adamant he would only go AL but now wants to try SC. You can get a three course meal for €12. A fillet steak for €17 that was heavenly! Highly recommend El Romantico and The House. I would definitely come back here but only on a B&B basis. I’ve seen people round the pool with cans of beer from the supermarket. €0.60 for a small can of Estrellea in the supermarket. Get a cool bag and a few beers! Overall this is a 3 star Spanish hotel. It isn’t great but I definitely would come back. You pay for what you get and we got an amazing view and fabulous family memories.

Didn’t expect too much from this Hotel to be honest as we’d opted for a pretty cheap deal BUT it far exceeded expectations and then some! The Hotel was 25mins from airport and is in a great location close to all amenities in Los Cristianos and a 3/4minute walk to the beach (up hill on the way back but not stupidly steep). About a 35mins steady stroll/walk into Playa Las Americas too. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and all tastes catered for. The Pool was cleaned methodically every morning and a great size along with a smaller childrens pool. The pool area was very pleasant in general, plenty of Parasols and Sunbeds with a Lifeguard on duty daily. The Bar area outside was lovely and although they do offer all inclusive, we chose just B&B so we did buy a few drinks which were fairly priced (€2.50 Coffee, €2.50 Slush, €3 Sangria and €5 Cocktails or Beer) We also did take a few cold drinks/snacks to the pool some days and this wasn’t an issue neither. The Reception staff, Cleaners and Restaurant/Bar staff were all so friendly and couldn’t do enough. The hotel lounge area is large and welcoming and the rooms themselves albeit a little dated are perfectly livable. Shower really powerful (just what was needed after a hot day), TV, Balcony, Beds and plenty of storage plus a hairdryer, handwash, shower gel and toiletries in the room. Towels changed daily if required and cleaners were very thorough. Our kids too old for the kids club etc but we noticed they were occupying the children everyday and Mini Disco/entertainment on every evening in the downstairs lounge bar. Our flight wasn’t due until late so we arranged to keep our room on until 6pm for €30 which was much cheaper than we have paid at other hotels. Sanitiser was all over the hotel and most staff still wearing masks. Bus stop just outside hotel for all the free buses to the shopping centres, Siam Park etc and not far at all to the shops if you needed anything. We didn’t hire a car this time but the hotel has a secure car park of this is something you want to do and they do hire out Bicycles and Mobility Scooters. A definate ‘will visit again’ from us! Thankyou to all at Sol Arona Tenerife for a great holiday!

Booked holiday with Jet 2. Was worried before we left so rang jet 2. who advised me it was disgruntled customers. So took jet 2 for there word.bed was so uncomfortable moved every time i moved. they put a mattress topper on no difference. was fully inclusive got £305.00 back for downgrading to breakfast only.. Was woken up at 3am with someone banging our door with shouting going on reception did not care. my 6 year old granddaughter was petrified. the place had a musty smell. People were leaving there food so if that does not tell them something really dont know what will!!!. really needs upgrading!! would not go even if i was offered for free......

We came last year in October half term and couldn’t fault the hotel food etc had a lovely time and the kids entrainment was fab my daughter loved it so booked again for this holiday . We were all inc last year and as ate out some evenings we decided to come half board this holiday ! Well what a rip off the drinks are when u buy them in the hotel .. a Malibu and coke was €9 that’s a single shot a bottle of Heineken is €3.50 and over road is 80c if prices were lower more people would buy a drink in hotel rather than buy from shops and bring in !! Also the food to buy for our daughter was a shock ! Shame entertainment in evening is downstairs in a room as last year was outside on a stage and much more relaxing and comfortable. Don’t like to moan as hotel as lovely and room gets cleaned EVERY day which doesn’t happen in a 4* and food I can’t moan about and my daughter loves the kids Entertainers especially Stas who remembered her from last year . Hope to enjoy our last few days in the sun 🌞 Would return but would love entertainment outside and drinks a little cheaper .. especially when we were charged full price for a machine sangria 🤷🏼‍♀️ But was sorted x
