Lovely clean place but a few things spoilt it for us Queuing for hot food … if making pancakes ,chicken kebabs etc why in the middle of people queuing a separate area would help the flow as people just back up . Same with ice cream , half way round choosing deserts people blocking the flow so frustrating . Easier for us to get salads ,then cheese and biscuits . Food is good if you get it but we went out instead as we like to eat together but I refuse to stand in a long queue for food .

Just returned from an 11 night stay. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are a good size and cleaned daily which is fantastic. Beds also have duvets rather than thin sheets which I prefer. AC in the rooms, although I think it would have little impact in summer months. Whilst the food was enjoyable and there was variety there isn't so much themed nights as advertised. We only noticed a Mexican theme on Wednesday and a roast of sorts on Sundays. But like I say plenty choice. The queues are a little frustrating and could do with being better managed whilst the requirement to queue is in place, many people queue for omlettes and pancakes in the morning which is the main hold up for those who simply want to grab a couple items. We realised to avoid queue in the evening to dine as soon as the restaurant opened in the evening. The hotel was becoming quite busy towards the end of our stay and I believe another restaurant was being utilised and dining hours extended to cope with capacity. The pools were lovely and clean, a bit chilly but you soon appreciate it after lieing in the sun for a few hours. There could be more parasols available for those with younger children as these are very limited and sun loungers "reserved" with towels very early. The animation team are fantastic and really make an effort to stop and chat. Amira is brilliant with the younger children and is always up for a laugh. She was always stopping to check in with adults and ask how their holiday was going. She is a real asset to the hotel. Overall, a really enjoyable stay and would definitely return!

Dear Amanda Thank you for your review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and that you found our hotel to be spotlessly cleans, nice duvets on the beds and air conditioning in your room. We are hoping soon when we have our next inspection from the health and safety company who come to ensure that all covid resticitions are in place that are set by the canarian Government that these can be removed. At the moment we must comply with the resticitons that are in place. We take note of all guests’ comments as we are always looking to make any improvements where possible to suit all of our guests needs. We will make sure that Amira and her team see your kind words. Once again thank you for your review and we look forward to welcoming you again in the near future. Kind Regards Los Zocos Impressive Lanzarote

This hotel with our tour company was rated 4* but not so high else where me we have discovered why. Noisy uncomfortable bedrooms, had loud music from pool and even worse with evening entertainment. Food is awful we paid for A/I but ate out every day after 2nd day, it’s not pleasant at all. Staff were unfriendly for the most part, and pool rules are too strict - no fun ! Kids not allowed to jump, dive or have floats even in kids pool. There is nowhere to sit in the evening after dinner unless you sit on sun lounger and still have to drink out of paper cups. The rooms were clean but basic but beds very uncomfortable, my husband and I have both woken up each day with back and rib pain from lying on them. Thankfully the weather was nice and the location is good, a saving Grace and we are fortunate enough to have been able to charge our meals out to credit card. Wouldn’t recommend or return and it’s shame as our last visit to island 4 years ago was much better

Dear Elaine We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We have the 2 different pool areas, the activity pool area where there is music and activists for all of the family and then our quitter pool area where there is no music or activities. Guests can choose which areas suits their holiday needs. We encourage children to have fun in the pools however all guests safety is of the utmost importance to us. We have a terrace bar open in the evenings near to the reception and we have the indoor area of the pool bar in the evenings and also the outside terrace plus the pool area terrace. During these times we must use as many outside areas as possible as inside areas have many restrictions still in place. We have taken note of your comments as all guests feedback is logged as we understand that all guests of all different nationalities have different holiday needs and we do our very best to cater for all. Once again we are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us this year. Kind Regards Los Zocos Impressive Lanzarote

The whole complex was very good, so I won’t fault it at all. The biggest problem was queuing for food at breakfast and evening meal. The queue was for the hot food main course, and the queue is one long line. We gave up having hot food and went out. Otherwise we had salads instead, no queue. This needs sorting, this is a general view looking at other reviews, but everything else is fine

Dear Richard Thank you for your review. Unfortunately there are still many covid restrictions that we have to respect. One of these being that there has to be snake queue at the hot buffet. We cannot allow guests to go directly to different sections as we did pre covid. As there are many children in the hotel now with it being half term we have extended the first sitting to open earlier. Outside the main restaurant we do have a traffic light system advising guests of the peak times We do hope that restrictions will be lifted soon however this is something that we have to wait for the government to change. Our main aim is to ensure that all of our guests have the best holiday possible. Thank you and kind regards Los Zocos Impressive Lanzarote

Just returned from 10 nights at Los Zocos. We had previously stayed there back in 1998 and as you would imagine it has changed an awful lot. We were allocated a disabled room which was near to reception and restaurant. Must admit the room was perfect for a wheelchair user as was the rest of the resort. Food: Well, as one reviewer has said. The layout of the food could be bettered as there are horrendous queues. We were allocated the first sitting but sometimes just went to the second sitting to avoid having to queue for ages, had to wait until about 9 to eat which is very late. People tend to wait for the people in front to pass every station instead of overtaking them. You can always find something to eat but most of the time, unless you get in at 7 or 8.45 (first and second sittings) the food is only lukewarm apart from the soup which is piping hot. Cleanliness is paramount at this hotel and we couldn't fault it. Evening Entertainment: Didn't go so can't comment. Pool: The large pool is the place to be if you want activity. We used the quieter pool which we found to be lovely and the bar staff are brilliant so much so that my husband just approached the bar and was told what he wanted!! Bars: Well, this is another aspect which needs attention. At the pool bar and stage at the main pool, there is insufficient seating for the size of the hotel and the only other bar nearby to the restaurant has the same problem. I think in all there were about 30 seats but we tended to use this and met some lovely people there. On the whole we did enjoy the 10 days away and met some lovely people but don't think we would return mainly due to the food and the lack of seating around the entertainment area and around the little bar. Must mention the TUI rep Jan. She was absolutely brilliant and helped us an awful lot with the passenger locator form. She goes out of her way to help everyone and can't praise her enough. I know everyone's idea of a holiday is different and this is just our view.

Dear Guest Thank you for your review and for retuning to visit use gain after so many years. It is nice to read that you liked the changes and the upgrades that the hotel has completed in the last years. We are glad that tour adapted room suited your needs. There are now very popular for many guests. Unfortunately here we still have many covid restrictions in place. One of them being that in buffet restaurants guests cannot go directly to the hot buffet in different directions. There must be a snake queue which does cause a back log especially when guests are choosing what they want to eat. We have asked if we can remove the snake system however a the moment this has been denied but hopefully it will be removed soon once the government advise us vis an external health and safety company who come to make the checks and inspections weekly to ensure that we have the controls in place. In the evenings we must use as many outside areas as possible as when guests are indoors that must wear masks at all times when not seated, eating or drinking. In the pool bar we have the 3 areas, inside, the back terrace plus the terrace by the pool area. Hopefully soon we will be able to open the disco area again. We understand that all guests have different holiday needs and expectations and we always do our very best to cater for all as well as complying with the local regulations. Thank you very much for your feedback and we do hope that you will return again in the near future Kind regards Los Zocos Impressive Lanzarote
