No personal printed information overview available, only tedious digital App. Pool Towels are not distributed at the pool, you have to carry them along and only room service can exchange them. Complicated processes make it easy for the hotel and hard for the guests.
So I’m writing this review while part way through our stay. We have come to the hotel for 4 days before going across to Fuerteventura (Innside by Meliá) and then back for a few more nights at Secrets Lanzarote. From the moment we arrived our experience has been wonderful. We booked a Level Grand suite and are very pleased with it. The room is spotless and looks exactly like the website photos. We arrived at the hotel around 12.30 and were greeted by the bellboy offering us a cold glass of cava. We then went through the check procedures that were pretty standard - we had to forward our COVID test results to the reception email address but it was all painless. We were then allowed to check straight into our room. We were expecting to perhaps have to wait. Every request we have had has been met with a smile, and granted. We’ve used the Meliá app to order additional toiletries we forgot and they were delivered minutes with a smile. We’re staying all inclusive and there are a few additional perks as we are part of the level. At breakfast you can choose the level lounge or the main restaurant. For lunch you can order from the ALC menu or use the buffet. The quality of both in my opinion has been great. In the evenings there is always some form of low key live music and waiter service to your table. It’s excellent. The COVID procedures are exemplary- people are always cleaning. Sanitizers everywhere and even gloves for the Buffett. There have been so many great staff in reception, waiters, in bars and restaurants. The hotel is classic 5*. It’s unfair for anyone to say it’s anything less. I have heard other guests moaning or complaining about various things. But our experience has been great from start to finish.…
The room was absolutely outstanding, we got a suite with an outdoor jacuzzy, and it was spacious and the layout was so confortable with dressing room, jacuzzy and a big shower and of course the best the sea view. We did not have big expectation for an all inclusive hotel, but it was worth it, plenty options and different restaurants and bars with good quality. But the best of this resort is the staff they are superb, thank you to the reception team, especially to Beatriz, she did of our stay something unforgottable, also Eduardo the maitre and waiters were amaizing. Thank you very much guys for this experience!
Nice hotel and pool bit bazaar on the bottled water. Guest remove the water from the buffet and obviously take it to the room. If you was stopping 1 night you get a bottle of water in your room. If you require anymore over your stay you either take it from the buffet which isn’t allowed. Call room service and it’s charged to your room or take a trip to the supermarket. Not really 5 star.
Stayed here for 1 night for a special occasion and overall it was an amazing stay. We stayed in a “level” room and it had amazing view over the main pool area and beach. Only thing that bugged me a little was how work the room was - furniture had marks, chipped corners, back of curtains torn, parts hanging off the rail, etc. Overall just missing that 5star touch. It was a pity as we had such an amazing stay. The level pool area was amazing and so private and quiet and the spread for breakfast was really great. Absolutely loved the architecture of the resort and I would 100% return. Thank you to all the team for our great stay!
