Great stay as usual in the Be Live Costa Teguise. Wonderful to be able to travel after 18 months. As previous visit all the staff were friendly, room spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the evening entertainment, also plenty to do if you want to join in with various daytime activities. There is only a small criticism it the parasol could do with replacing, but appreciate they haven't had any income for 18 months.

This hotel requires some TLC some repairs are required and some paint work. Food was never hot sometimes even cold and that was at beginning of the service when it opened! Ate out mostly due to the food and very poor cocktails. My room was never cleaned properly my outside table got cleaned about every 3 days. Had to ask for soap even though it was obvious i had none. Coffee stains on table for days before it was cleaned. Balcony walls all cracked and paint all flaked off. The cleaners throw the bags of laundry and rubbish downstairs very dangerous practice. Found the staff in adult club abrupt felt uncomfortable asking for more coffee. The pool is adequatekept clean but they dont stop people from smoking on sun loungers so you always inhale smoke some also had a loud speaker playing there own music i thought the staff would have frowned upon that. Entertainment every night lounge area very nice staff friendly serving at night. Reception staff very helpful situated perfectly in resort. Not worth the money or the stars it has due to condition of the hotel.

Had 2 weeks at Be live and it’s better than we expected after reading the reviews. Food is decent enough but as others have said some is only lukewarm but still plenty of choice. I’m not sure what some reviewers want from the food!!! It is an all inclusive buffet not lunch at the Ivy, so fill up and shut up. The orange juice at breakfast is made from industrial grade loo cleaner but you can buy the real thing for €2. We stayed in a room that was part of the Adult club, it had a sea view but no docking station as was advertised on the Tui page but it did have a kitchen set up but no pans or plates so I’m unsure why it’s there. Beds in the room are very comfy and you get a choice of pillows, the bedding and towels are worn out and full of holes. There is a sun area for Adult club but it feels like you have been shoved out of the way in a spare piece of patio, it is not special at all. Most Sun-loungers are covered in towels in the middle of the night and most beds are very tired and grubby, some people use 2 to lay on so their bums don’t sag to the tiles. All the bars are very understaffed, in the Brandy well bar there is usually 3 staff but only 1 serves drinks and his time is took up with whinging bar flies. I cannot fault most of the staff they are all working as fast as they can, all are friendly and do as much for you as possible. We tried Mylos Ala-Carte once during our 2 weeks, the food and service was really good. Half way through the holiday the cleaner came in and swapped the iron that we had hired from an exterior company for 1 that was damaged, our original was a newish one with a euro plug but the one she left was a damaged old English one and was totally different from the one we hired. The hotel and Tui tried feeding us some BS about why she had swapped it but we still don’t believe either of them. It would appear the hotel don’t like criticism as a number of reception staff have stopped acknowledging us.

Hotel clean, food very good with a lot of choice, room large, clean and modern. Hotel suits everyone. The sraff worked so hard, they are all a credit to the hotel. shout out to the ladies in the pool bar, they worked non stop with a smile all the time. The room cleaners, our room was spotless everyday. And a special shout out for Sam in the entertainment team. Sam, you made our break special. We had a great time with you and the naughty boys. We have never joined in with games before, but you made it fun. We did yoga, plates, aqua aerobics, darts, shooting and schoffle? We sampled the bars around the hotel, we ate out one night t the Namastay Indian Restaurant, very good. We did a bit of shopping and fed the fish in the sea in the cove. A lovely relaxing break for us. Thank you When we first arrived there was a man moaning about the hotel food. I found the food to be very good with lots of choice. Some people pay the price of a 3 star and want 5 star. Most of the guests were just very happy to have a sunny safe break away after a difficult nearly 2 years.

We spent 2 weeks at this hotel. We were very impressed with the selection of food in the restaurants (and also enjoyed a couple of meals at the a la carte restaurant on site). One of us is gluten-free and they were very happy to see a small gluten-free area at breakfast including bread and cereals. In the evening, there was plenty of gluten-free salad, fish and paella (some boards provided allergy information but chefs also happy to advise). Wifi speed was impressive, we watched Netflix movies in our room using our laptop! Very central location - the beach, restaurants and shops are literally a couple of minutes away. Most people at the hotel were staying all-inclusive but we didn't feel that was necessary and were half-board. We had to buy drinks with our evening meal but they were very reasonably priced. All extras were added to our tab which we settled at the end of our stay but reception were happy to let us know what that was at any time. Went to Peurto Del Carmen a couple of times on the bus which were very frequent (about every 20 mins). It took about 45 mins, bus stop less than 5 min walk from the hotel (main road). We asked at reception about our TV as no English channels and maintenance guy was already waiting for us when we got back to the room and re-tuned so we had more channels. He also repaired our safe in the room which was not closing properly. Really loved the Jack Daniels restaurant (literally right next to the hotel exit on beach side) - very nice ribs there and great staff. Don't have any major gripes but very windy at times and people put towels out early to reserve sunbeds and umbrellas. We would have loved to stay longer!
