We stopped here for lunch, hoping for a bit of tranquility and a good lunch. There were more peacocks than people, but the people still managed to spoil the tranquility. This is obviously a place frequented by the locals. The lunch menu is super expensive and this is by far the most I have ever paid for lunch in Namibia....

We only went there for dinner. The prices are not the lowest but the quality of food was simply amazing. Loved it!!! We had beef fillet steak, kuddu fillet steak, ox tails, pork chops and kavango something and each of us guests were really happy. The waitress was a bit demotivated though.

We stayed here for one night and though it was pretty and the peacocks were fun, the rooms were not very nice. They had not been updated in awhile and they were very small. The Wifi was only available at the lobby and the connection was quite slow. I would not stay here longer than one night.

We stayed one night on our way into Botswana. The hotel is set on lovely well maintained grounds with many peacocks wandering around. The location although being in the middle of a bustling Rundu, is a quite oasis. There is a great pool big enough for some exercise and a cool down. Food was tasty and a very good breakfast...

This was a nice oasis away from the hot dusty streets of Rundu. The well kept grounds, the non stop courting rituals of the 5 male peacocks (gotta impress the hens), the clean spacious rooms and the tasty food all came together to make my stay very enjoyable. This seemed to be the nicest place to stay in town so...

We were stuck for choice in Rundu and had never stayed at this hotel. The rooms are really average as is the food. But it does the job and we were grateful for a pool after a very long and hot day. Service was good and drinks were cold! No complaints!

I pass thru it a couple of times, mostly will be on transit and you get well rested for the journey ahead. The best for me in Rundu. The staff are friendly, and the food is okay. The rooms are average but you get well rested. The grounds are well looked after

Great hotel--- location is excellent, easy to walk to any part of town. the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Nice pool. They have the best patio -- I highly recommend for lunch or dinner even if not staying there. I stayed for 5 nights and don't have any complaints except the peacocks can be quite loud... My colleague's room had a...

Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish. 3 Stars? My backside has 3 stars. Rubbish breakfast, rubbish beds (hard as stone), rude receptionist. Totally and entirely overpriced. My recommendation: Kavango River Lodge
