We returned here after seven years. One year we couldnot reach the place(2011) because the roads were floadded. When we arrived in Rundu we could not believe our eyes: we remembered the city as dirty, chaotic and quite small, but now you find there many beautiful new buildings and also the roads are much better. The shops incredible much better....

The bungalow we chose had a magnificent view of the Cubango River, which forms the Namibia-Angola border in Rundu. Having driven into Namibia from Botswana and spent some time on the nice tarred road along the border we wanted a quiet place that would remind us of this day. Well, this was the spot! The charming staff were so kind...

This is not a place for the tourist and caters to a local/conference crowd. After speaking to locals, they relayed the same. They couldn't believe my travel agent put me there. Was excited to see birds and do activities on the river as advertised, yet I hardly saw a bird while I was there, and no river activities were offered....

We camped at Sarasungu for one week. It is a great place to relax, read books, and enjoy the forest. Facilities were very clean and staff were very friendly. We arrived on bicycles which was bit tricky as the road is several km and rather sandy, but it is worth it. The forest in which you can camp is beautiful....

Rundu was a convenient place to stop on a long road trip. This lodge is right on the Okavango River and unfortunately it had been in flood just before we stayed. We appreciated the efforts that the staff had gone to to clean up the property and sandbag the access road. There are nice gardens, a pleasant little pool and...

My friends and I where volunteering in Namibia, mainly in Rundu. With the harsh sun, this lodge was a welcome and beautiful break. I didn't stay over night, but we relaxed and ate and watched the sunset over Angola which was amazing. Had a wonderful day

We were camping. Very basic amenities, but kept reasonably clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small pool by the bar. These facilities, as well as the ablution facilities, are also used by day visitors.

This is very convenient for the buzzing border town of Rundu, with its petrol stations and supermarkets, as well as small street market selling endless flip flops. The campsite by the river is attractive, but it was raining so hard when we arrived we swapped rooftop canvas for one of the cottages. It was basic, and the furnishings were tired....

We arrived quite late to this Lodge but just in time to catch a sunset cruise on the river. Stunning views and a friendly staff member to take us. This was a highlight of our August holiday trip. The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable. The reception staff member was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just ok with...
