After spending some six weeks, four of which I spent in Historical Guadalajara, four days in Manzanillo and 13 days in Puerta Vallarta, I arrived at the hotel to spend my final night. This hotel was chosen due to the rate and its proximity to the airport. On my arrival I was warmly greeted by the staff and directed to...

When my wife saw the pictures posted in the website, she fell in love with the place. When we walked into our room, we felt so dissapointed. Carpet very worn out. Bed spread very old. Pillows were old and flat. Shower tiles (walls and floor) chipped and broken. Lots of water leaking thru the shower sliding door. No remote control...

The hotel is situated on top of a hill and has a great view of the city. We felt that we were one of few people staying there. The service was EXCELLENT and the food very good. It's more like a retreat than a hotel. The room was VERY large and included a couch, a table and two chairs, and...

I first stayed at the El Tapatio about 3 years ago and have been staying there during my visits ever since. It is a really good value for the money, their facilities, services and...

Spent eight nights at the Hotel El Tapatio in Jan,2005. I booked it due to great rates. It is a very quiet, safe, clean place to stay in Guadalajara. Mostly frequented by the Mexican population. You will not find a lot of English speaking people staying there. There is no nighlife even though there is a beautiful disco there. Weekends are busier....

If people knew how great this hotel is they would not stay elsewhere. I have stayed at practically all the great hotels in Guadalajara but none offers such a great value for the money. The restaurant is great and so is the swimming pool, the views are panoramic, the employees are very courteous and the services are excellent. It is...

We stayed at El Tapatio for two nights in mid January, 2004. The hotel itself is beautiful. There's lots of green grass, a beautiful pool, a nice dining room, a gym, a disco and restaurant, and the rooms are quite large. We did run into a few problems though. First, we were there at about the coldest part of the...
