My work colleagues and I stayed at this hole in the earth for one night and it was one night too many. The rooms were dirty and had an old damp smell that hits you like a brick as soon as you walk in the door . The shower had no pressure and went from ice cold to hotter than...

So...single glazing + busy road = extreme noise, poor décor, tired and 90s style, flimsy furniture and no work table for laptop = no chance to get any decent business work done . No extractor fan or window in bathroom (is that legal), windows in bedroom don't open but in winter why would you = ???? Music in bar played...

Ok, firstly the Cranley hotel is a pub, with rooms above. We had a midweek stay so didn't suffer any noise as such from below, but I could imagine this place could get a bit lively on the weekends. We shared a triple room, 3 single beds, with tired pillows and quilts. Very flat and as basic as can be....

Dirty, horrible, smelly. Pillow smelt of someone else's sweat, ensuite, if you can call it that, was disgusting, carpet stained, furniture if used would have probable fallen apart, the window frames were covered in so much mould you could have grown potatoes in them, the foliage on the outside wall was going inside as well so much so you could...

Sadly we should have read the the reviews prior to booking, as I can confirm that all the previous reviews are correct with their comments, so much so that the tap in room 6 is still running! To be honest we found the managers fine but the rooms are very tired and while clean they are very tatty. The hotel...

I booked this hotel for the convenience to the location I was working. The first clue was the phone call I received on the way (around 9.20pm) that the bar was closing shortly and the side door would be open with the key in the door of my room (4). The room was clean but with a feint stale smell....

Cleanliness something to be desired, Rude manager, Awful, Needing a good overhaul, Lacklustre, Exit quickly, Yuk! Don't expect the room you booked to be the one you get. We booked triple room with double bed and one single, the only room left and one with a double bed. On arrival we were shown to a twin room. When we said...

The rooms are tired, worn and tatty. The cold tap in Room 6 has obviously been running continuously for a long time. Floorboards are loose and noisy. Breakfast poor quality. Worst of all the manager attempted to overcharge at the bar and was argumentative when the error was pointed out. The price charged is way above the standard delivered.

Like, wow, that looks grim Wow, I guess this room has never seen a good clean. Wow, best get breakfast elsewhere as all you can smell is dirty oil from the kitchen. Wow, there is an actual hole in the wall! Wow, the window has been replaced with cardboard! Wow, I feel dirtier after showering. Wow, water from other rooms...

The hotel was booked by my company on my behalf. I did say it only need some where to sleep for the night, however I expect it to be clean. After being shown to my room I was very disappointed it was filthy. I was told what time dinner was served, however after my first impressions I decided to go...
