We were traveling with our 3 children. I have nothing but gratefulness and kind words to say about all of the staff I encountered. The grounds are set in an immaculate jungle setting. It's an easy drive or shuttle to a super beautiful beach, where we spent our days frolicking and spoiling ourselves to delicious food and drinks at their...

This was the second time I stayed in Amarte, just for the same reason as last year : perfect as usual and confirming my review from last year. As a professional traveler and going on prospection to find hotels for my clients, I read reviews on TripAdvisor to see what others think about it. I stumbled on the review of...

We booked into this hotel as a stopover because our plane arrived in Cancun late in the evening and we preferred not to do the long drive south to the Belize border in darkness. We chose Amarte because of its convenient location right by the highway, and were very pleasantly surprised to discover that a lovely oasis lies behind its...

It is a beautiful hotel. Staff was wonderful! Very nice rooms with a bath. Ours had a big walk in shower. From what we saw they are all duplexes. Bath to bath. Sharing a front thatch covered patio area with hammocks. Big windows with screens. French restaurant. For us we walked across the road to a great restaurant called Burger...

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings experienced during our 10-day stay at the Amarte Hotel. The splendid interplay between the exquisite architecture and elegant interior design of the spacious bungalow living quarters with the privacy provided by the palm tree-enriched tropical vegetation, maintained meticulously by an army of noiseless gardeners, led to our desire to return again to this virtual...

Unlike all of the monstrous resorts popping up near Playa Del Carmen, Amarte was a refreshing change. Its rooms are sprawled out amongst a winding trail of trees and fountains. The pools are secluded. Apparently, its about a 20 minute walk their private beach at their sister property or couple of minute drive. The unique vibe of the place would...

We spent our last night here after a month exploring the Yucatán. Beautiful spacious and clean room, attentive staff, excellent pool area, a pleasant surprise. The burger stop next door is great. Friendly host, cool decorations and the food is pretty good. It's about a 5 minute drive to their sister property on the beach which is quite spendy but...

Thoroughly enjoyed my recent experience at Amarte. The staff immediately made me feel so welcomed. The stoned walkways wind through beautiful tropical gardens. The double bungalow single floor style casitas feature an architectural fusion of Spanish and Mayan charm. My room offered such a simple, understated elegance. From bed sheets and pillowcases to the large tiled floors (and shower), all...

My husband, sons and myself stayed in this hotel during a weekend. We went to a wedding which was celebrated in Hotel Amarte. As soon as we were taken to our room the disappointment started: it was full of ants! We immediately called reception and while they were on the way, we decided to inspect a bit further to see...
