Based in the small town of Culdaff on the Inishowen peninsula, this family run hotel is a gem. Have stayed ihere on two occasions and not been disappointed either time. We had a double room the first time and a family room on our most recent visit, Both were very comfortable, with modern furniture and fittings and well equipped -and...

Pub in a good location for visiting the north, but we were expecting Irish music and there was none on either of the nights we stayed. Pub food was good, but on both nights the main dining room was not open and we were not offered a 'Specials menu' even though other diners were! Hotel rooms were clean but basic.

Having stayed in McGrorys on previous occasions, We were looking forward to another enjoyable and relaxing stay. Unfortunately I feel it has lost its attention to detail and to its customers. Having booked the restaurant for an evening meal, when we arrived it was full of children, which is fine if we had been told when booking, we could have...

As a frequent visitor and past lover of McGrorys it is with a heavy heart I write this comment. Something has changed - the atmosphere is gone and the staff seem to be miserable all the time. Lots of the old staff have left and must have taken the atmosphere with them. Used to love my trips to McGrorys when...

After taking our Dutch friends for a walk on Culdaff beach we called at McGrory's for lunch. Well..... The food and the staff were fabulous. The haddock especially was amazing. But it was all good. Chowder highly recommended. Our waitress was excellent, knowledgable about the local food and locally brewed beer. This place is a gem and we'll be back!!
