Were entertained here to a group lunch. Lovely setting in garden area under gazebo and away from the hub-bun of the town. Good Malagasy food, pleasant staff. The walled surroundings with murals were most unusual and there was a good view over the valley.

Even though everyone suggested this place as the best one in the town and despite of the beautiful wood carvings, in the room we had in the main building of the hotel it did not smell fresh and neither did the bed sheets. It was a pity since the place is otherwise very nice and the restaurant served good food....

Simple and clean. Perfectly adequate rooms. Lovely setting and amusing woodcarvings. The food is also simple but good and local musicians play during dinner which adds to the atmosphere. Not for people that seek luxury but for those who appreciate character.

Nice spot for lunch outside on the terrace. lunch was good and service was great. Also good for an espresso. The conveniences were clean. All in all a good place for lunch and nice entertainment. There is also a nice view of the town from the verandah. As Ambositra is home to wood carving, the chalets have a nice detail...

Our tour company had organised this hotel for a one night stay to break up our drive back to Antananarivo. We were pleasantly surprised by the neat hotel compound. We were quickly directed to our room which was just above the restaurant. The room was beautifully decorated with wooden floor, ceiling, headboard, chairs etc, and was very clean and tidy....

I stayed here one night as part of a larger tour. The hotel has both bungalows and a lodge. The rooms were comfortable and there was hot water. The view of the valley is very pretty as is the patio sitting area. The restaurant was good with slow paced but good service. The hotel was close to the various artisans...

Stopped off here for a spot of lunch as we drove north on our Kouni tour. The hotel /restaurant has a definite Malagasy feel about it and is quite attractive in its own way. When we arrived the verandah was quite busy with tour groups being entertained by a local folk grop who san and danced during luchh. I must...

We stayed in this hotel for two nights during a round trip on Madagascar. It is situated close to the centre of Ambositra and it is quite charming. The design features the rich wooden carvings of the Zafimaniry, the local people. Their arty tradition of carving wood has been listed with the UNESCO world heritage. The rooms are situated in...

Very inexpensive - $25 for room, lunch and dinner; clean and artfully designed with free wifi. However, rooms are dark, beds less comfy than desired and expect to wake early due to the noise of birds (a LOT). Food is ok. Good place to stop on rn7.

The hotel was fitting its name, the rooms were cutely decorated with local crafts and woodwork. We were unfortunately given what appeared the worst room (#1) which didn't have a great outlook and was above the restaurant. When I asked to change (as they were only about 40% full) the reception staff were unhelpful. The male staff were really pleasant...
