Booked a taxi to spend a day in Tromso ... Asked to see where the "Tirpitz" was sunk, which was on the way... ( sad to see nothing but a metal plaque to show where it was bombed).... Anyway apart from trying to see if we could see a moose... (Failed) we were taken to Tromso the scenic route for... More

Hello Raymond Thanks for your comment and fully understand if it was unexpected. It's correct that it's higher rates here in Norway than many other places in Europe. I will inform the taxi drivers that they tips about approximately prices in advance. In Our pricelists you will see that normal rate for pick-up transfer with the local taxi here is... More

My dream has always been to visit Norway; primarily to see the northern lights. Lauklines was a perfect location, I have never experienced anything like it before. Lauklines is set about 50 minute drive away from Tromso so you get away from the hustle and bustle and lights. We paid for transfer which went smoothly although it made me nervous... More

The cabins were clean, smart and all had wifi, there was even a sauna on site. The small shop on site had basic gifts, food, fishing tackle necessities. Further knowledge was given to us by Alex when he gave us... More

We stayed here in Februari, just visiting the region and seeing the Northern Lights. Didn't want to stay in a city hotel so found Lauklines. And we were extremely glad we did ! Yes it's a 30-40 min drive from the city center, and when it snows the roads are white, but no problem with our rental car. It was... More

You have the amazing benefit of being able to sit and watch the whales in Kattfjord from your own window and we saw 2 hump backs swim past. You... More
