Had a meal here, didn't need to book, nicely set out, plenty of tables and well decorated place, with small children's area. Had a nice meal and would come again, service was good with a helpful waitress.

Been here and eaten a few times over the past few year and always been OK. Today we had a very friendly service to begin but then went downhill. OK overpriced food very long wait. No one came to ask if we needed more drinks so we had to go to the bar. On asking to pay the bill the...

We booked a one night stay and arrived a bit early not expecting to access the room but wanting a drink before going out for lunch. We weren't allowed in the bar but could sit in the coffee shop which was a bit strange as this did not appear to be open either. That said the staff made us a...

Dreadful! Accommodation is poor - lights didn't work; complimentary tea wasn't in the room; towel rail broken; room cold; no toiletries in the bottles. We are still waiting in the restaurant for food after ordering an hour ago. There are families with children who have fallen asleep, as their parents are complaining. Two items were off the menu, including fish...

Would definitely advise pre booking. Food is excellent and the service is generally pretty good once you have their attention. Great location, we have been three times over the last few months and standards are generally high and the team is always very welcoming of the children which is great.

Seven stopped here for Sunday lunch and ordered food. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy and we were asked often enough if we wanted more drinks. After an hour of waiting we asked if there was a problem. Our food came 5 minutes later and though it looked nice it was pretty awful. The veg looked and tasted as though they...

Friendly reception staff, don't forget to book your car in on arrival. Comfortable rooms with all the usual needs. Great evening meal, breakfast was equally as good will locally sourced food. The only minus, the bathroom was a little too tight.
