Misdescribed as being in a 'peaceful garden setting', right on State Highway 71? Actually very noisy, and from room 4 on first floor could only see next property's car park (a nursery). 'Private balcony' was shared with next room, modern decorations, but layout very unsatisfactory in particular microwave coffee making facilities as far as possible away from bathroom, no sink...

The staff were lovely. The room was a decent size with a double bed and a single bed but the bathroom was a very tight fit for anyone. It's a little out of town and whilst noisy during the day was very quiet at night.

This motel is very rundown and not somewhere I would choose to stay again. Our unit was crammed with beds, to the point that you could barely move, bathroom was a very narrow en-suite bathroom and could not fill jug in hand basin - hopeless. There were 4 multi-plugs in the unit - dangerous for a start, but the minute...

Walked in off street .Easy check in.... Didn't have to fill out anything??? Room was musty smelling and looking tired. Comfortable bed and clean. Very small TV, but full Sky. Limited free Wifi. Did the job, but won't hurry back.

We spent two nights here at the Lilybrook Motel. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We had a slight unfortunate accident on the stairs with our daughter and they were ever so helpful, no ones fault, although a hand rail on both sides would have been helpful. Room was warm and comfortable. Would be nice to have a...

We have stayed twice at this Motel, mainly because it's conveniently located to where our venue has been. The first unit we were in last year was needing a paint job, some door handles were missing and a couple of holes in the wall. This time we stayed, we were in a different unit with same kind of repairs needed....

Phoned this motel in afternoon about us looking for accommodation for my partner and me and our 2 labradors. They were happy to accommodate! This is real pet friendly!!! No comments made about how to keep our dogs or what we should or should not do. (They only charged extra for cleaning, told before booking and absolute no problem for...

Hospitality was great. They couldn't do enough for our group of 16 golfers visiting Rangiora to play in a tournament. Okay, the motel is getting a little old but it's clean, very clean. We'll be staying here again when we return. Paul (Papakura RSA)

We chose a small unit which was suitable for our two night stay. Bigger units are available which looked nice through the windows. Our bed was comfortable, the room warm, and the staff friendly and helpful. Kitchen limited in our unit with only water available at hand basin. Enough equipment for breakfast though. Good shower but some mould on ceiling...

Do yourself a favour and DO NOT stay here. the only thing that was adequate were the towels. Everything else, (and I mean EVERYTHING) was terrible. Mould everywhere in the bathroom. Mould on the curtains. Terrible shower. Looks like the whole place has been let go for a longtime.
