This campground is very quiet and close to Mt. Cook, if the mountains should be in clouds and rain. The weather here is sometimes okay in comparison to Mt. Cook village depending on the wind. Nice view from some sites onto the mountains. The kitchen has everything you need. Bathroom is very clean. Wildlife : rabbits :) We where here...

This was the first park we stayed at during our NZ road trip. We really liked the feel of this place, very laid back. We stayed in a tent and were able to chose from the many sites available. I would recommend getting there early for more choice because the wind does tend to pick up and they do warn...

64 $ for a powered site, old "handmedown" like facilities and people doing haircuts in the lounge..... No thank you, never again. This place only survives by it´s monopoly of accomodations in the area.

From our emplacement we had fantastic views of Mount Cook and the lake. Very nice parkland campsite with fairly private emplacements. Kitchen was ok. Toilet/wash block could perhaps do with upgrading. Lovely site. Thoroughly recommend it.

We tent camped at the Mount Cook Glentanner Park Centre for two nights in early December. The camp was nicely organized and had good shared facilities such as showers, kitchen, outdoor barbecue area, and indoor space. The views from the property were great and we enjoyed nightly hikes down to the lake from the campsite.

I could explore beautiful scenery when I visited there. Also, I really appreciated kind help from staff when I had to find the cabin instead of camping very last minute because of bad weather. However, shower facilities needed to be improved.

We stayed there for 1 night around November 2016. The place was fulled with students at that time so water supply could run out if you have to use some water at shower time. The share kitchen is nice, equipped with essential tools. The campsite is quite and private. Very windy at night. Me and my friend has a toilet-emergence...

Great location, good bedrooms and excellent kitchen facilities. Worth taking a bit of time to walk down to the top of the lake and look around. Usually no one else around. Only a short drive to Mt Cook with time to enjoy the views.

Excellent camping site in an amazing location. Only a very quick walk down to the lake edge and short drive on to the foot of the mountains. Friendly and efficient staff. Good facilities with great brekky served in cafe. Would definitely recommend it.

I was surprised how far this was from Mt Cook. Also the powered camper sites did not have views of anything which was disappointing given the location. Facilities were basic & service uninspiring. Unfortunately your only choice in the area unless you freedom camp. Some great spots to do that lakeside so a good option.
