From our emplacement we had fantastic views of Mount Cook and the lake. Very nice parkland campsite with fairly private emplacements. Kitchen was ok. Toilet/wash block could perhaps do with upgrading. Lovely site. Thoroughly recommend it.

We tent camped at the Mount Cook Glentanner Park Centre for two nights in early December. The camp was nicely organized and had good shared facilities such as showers, kitchen, outdoor barbecue area, and indoor space. The views from the property were great and we enjoyed nightly hikes down to the lake from the campsite.

I could explore beautiful scenery when I visited there. Also, I really appreciated kind help from staff when I had to find the cabin instead of camping very last minute because of bad weather. However, shower facilities needed to be improved.

We stayed there for 1 night around November 2016. The place was fulled with students at that time so water supply could run out if you have to use some water at shower time. The share kitchen is nice, equipped with essential tools. The campsite is quite and private. Very windy at night. Me and my friend has a toilet-emergence...

Great location, good bedrooms and excellent kitchen facilities. Worth taking a bit of time to walk down to the top of the lake and look around. Usually no one else around. Only a short drive to Mt Cook with time to enjoy the views.

Excellent camping site in an amazing location. Only a very quick walk down to the lake edge and short drive on to the foot of the mountains. Friendly and efficient staff. Good facilities with great brekky served in cafe. Would definitely recommend it.

I was surprised how far this was from Mt Cook. Also the powered camper sites did not have views of anything which was disappointing given the location. Facilities were basic & service uninspiring. Unfortunately your only choice in the area unless you freedom camp. Some great spots to do that lakeside so a good option.

The camping ground has a spectacular view being next to a glacier fed lake at the foot of Mt Cook. The site is well equipped with sufficient facilities. Staff is friendly and always helpful in organizing day trips, etc. Helicopter ride is a must, should the weather allow it. Highly recommended!

We stayed at 7 different camp sites around the South Island and found that this one was the most expensive and had very average facilities. Being the only (not Doc) campground in the area shouldn't mean that the facilities are not maintained. We found at our powered site that the water wasn't working and went to three other sites before...

We stayed one night.Kitchen equipped with all you need for cooking, nice and big seating area with stove fireplace. For such a place 3 toillets and 3 showers for women is not enough in the rush hour but all clean and tidy.It is busy place, so expect tour busses as well.
