My husband and I spent one night at this cozy abode when in town visiting family. It was such a spectacular choice and a pleasant surprise. The hotel itself is incredibly well maintained and altough our room was on the smaller side it had all the amenities we needed. I would definately stay here again as the room, service and...

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The rooms are very nice. It was a wonderful place to stay. It makes you love Mexico even more. It was one of the best places we've stayed in Mexico. We would go back in a heartbeat.

The hotel is very, very good, nice old hacienda style wood carved decoration all over. Very good atention, from front desk, helpers etc. Small but nice room on the third floor (no elevator) with great view. Breakfast included very good traditional local food. Very well located in downtown Uruapan. Higly recomended.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Mi Solar for the Artisani Festival. The B&B is quite modern and very well maintained, clean and non-smoking. Our room on the second floor, although small, was clean, comfortable and quiet. Most of the staff speak english and were willing to help us with our spanish and were always attentive and helpful and...

Just returned from a sunny, warm wonderful trip to Morelia/Patzcuaro and Uruapan. The Mi Solar is a quiet oasis, close to the sights and main Plaza. We stayed in the suite which was on the top floor with lots of natural lighting, sitting area, very clean and spacious. The room included breakfast and you could order anything off the menu,...

I picked this hotel for it's handy location to the city centre and the positive comments from trip advisor. We stayed 2 nights while we climbed Paricutin Volcano at the nearby town of Angahuan. The hotel included a hearty breakfast every morning. There was a parking lot available for our car. We were a block from the zocalo, market, museums,...

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. It is right in the middle of this beautiful town, and it was immaculate and modern. Breakfast (included) was our choice of several menu items. The hotel is in a beautifully restored colonial mansion w/ an interior patio and service was warm and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Mi Solar during the Domingo de Ramos Tianguis in Uruapan. We found the hotel to be conveniently located from the main square (about 3 blocks). Our room was quiet during our visit. The hotel has been beautifully restored. It had three floors with rooms built around an interior enclosed courtyard. Our room on...

You can hear every single noise coming from the street. Our room was on the ground floor and we had only one window with "polished glass" so it was impossible to see anything even the sky to know the weather... We asked to leave the hotel after the first night and it was imposible to talk to the manager. They...

Mi Solar is a true gem. A beautiful facility, large rooms nicely furnished, surrounding a beautiful Colonial courtyard, a friendly and helpful staff several of whom speak English, and a convenient location just a block away from the plaza. The pleasant hotel retaurant provides a good breakfast, gratis, and becomes a cozy bar from 6 to 10 P.M. Uruapan is...
