Very nice old hotel. Friendly staff, large room and a really nice atmosphere. Everything was good. The plaza a short walk. Don't miss the Regional Park. It is really unique and interesting. About a 45 minute easy walk to get around it. Waterfall based. Very pretty and busy plaza.

Have stayed here four times during the past year on business. Each time has been a delight. Set back of the main square it has everything I'm looking for in a hotel. It's close to everything, well valued when the quality of the hotel is considered, clean, efficient and best of all...extremely quiet. To eat, I turn the corner and...

Uruapan is not short on hotels. They mightn't all be listed on TripAdvisor but for a town this size there are plenty of options - and most of them looked pretty ordinary. The proprietors of Mi Solar, on the other hand, clearly understand the little touches that are required to raise a hotel above the Latin American standard. Think soft...

This hotel is fabulous. Reasonable prices, comfortable beds, accessible wi-fi and a great location along with friendly helpful staff and you have it all. It was quiet and cozy - we got a room with beautiful big windows that looked out onto the street - through ancient wood doors! Open those up and the light floods in.

The Hotel is pretty, very "antique-like", great prices, there are some very basic rooms, and some a little bit more equipped (like A/C, hair dryer, Coffee, Phone, etc). Beds are great and comfortable. The hotel is very clean.

We decided to stay here for a friend´s wedding and it was very near the center, the staff was friendly and hospitable and we had no problems with our reservation. The fares are cheap! we purchased a double bed room and payed like 70 usd., but the cheapest without ac is around 40 bucks! I would definitely stay here again...

Mi Solar is a nicely updated property. It's a lovely old court building that has colonial charm with modern comfort. It's convent to town and easy walking distance to the national park. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Some English spoken. It's a great alternative to cookie cutter chain hotels. A good...

My spouse and I, as well as two friends, checked into this hotel after a disappointing night at another nearby property (check my other Uruapan review). The front-desk staff at Mi Solar was very courteous and accommodating even on very short notice. The bellhop and bar staff were also very generous and helpful. The rooms have actually been updated since...

Highly recommendable hotel. Stayed in room 51, which is Standard but had beautiful woodwork, was bright and airy, had everything we needed and was quiet. Wi-fi works well and they are going to open a new Hotel Restaurant across the street. Can't wait to try it when it opens!

My husband and I spent one night at this cozy abode when in town visiting family. It was such a spectacular choice and a pleasant surprise. The hotel itself is incredibly well maintained and altough our room was on the smaller side it had all the amenities we needed. I would definately stay here again as the room, service and...
