A very small but absolutely amazing place. Located on the hills, with plenty of walking options around. The family running it are wonderful, and the cook is excellent. The fresh pastas were amazing, and they were very accommodating in terms of dietary restrictions and making sure we had everything we needed. They also offer half-board rate which is convenient if...

What a beautiful part of the world. The family that runs this agriturismo are so inviting and the food we eat was fantastic. A wonderful place to stay. The rooms are tidy, clean and have everything you need. The family also run a restaurant from the farmhouse on the weekend but it is still small and intimate. Its nicely positioned...

We traveled through Italy without reservations, so we called on Il Filare very last minute hoping for reservations after reading what an amazing cooking class that they offer on the weekends. Unfortunately they were booked for the weekend, but they did have availability for 2 weeknights. We are so glad that we decided to go for the two days. This...

Stayed 4 nights in the beautiful hills. Hosts were accommodating and helpful. We hadn't originally booked the room with dinners; but they were able to provide 2 delicious meals on that day's notice. Meals were excellent and hearty, showcasing local and seasonal products expertly prepared. We enjoyed breakfast every morning, usually with Charlie, the adorable and sweet resident cat. Hosts...

We listened to the advice of other reviews and put the coordinates from the website into our Garmin, so we had no problems finding the place. We arrived and saw one of the owners picking berries (it is a berry farm) so prepared our things while he got ready to check us in. We were then greeted by a litter...

We spent two nights at this lovely Agriturismo. Manuel even gave us the choice of bedrooms, which was a bonus! The Agriturismo is very close to Parma, which is ideal for visiting and sightseeing. Gabriele even organised a personal visit to a local Parma ham production factory. Lorella's cooking is amazing! You have to try it! She showcases the farms...

You really need SatNav for this one and TomTom does NOT recognise the address. Get the co-ordinates from their website and then it works. Lots of unmade roads round there but all passable easily. Roads are generally well surfaced but are twisty, steep but afford great views Il Filare is a new building on an old site. Three or more...

Il Filare was one of our favourite places to stay on our trip to Emilia Romagna in September. The views from Il Filare are stunning, and there are many wonderful places to visit in the area. The Busi family is exceptionally helpful with planning excursions in the area and with opening their home to visitors. Lorella made us wonderful dinners...

Wonderful place in a remote hill top near Parma- beautiful views and exceptional hospitality- we were made to feel like family. The food was wonderful- authentic and plentiful. Newly refurbished rooms were clean and provided plenty of space. A gem of a B&B.

Great atmosphere, beautiful house and room, perfect hosts, culinary heaven! We admire this family who found the perfect receipe for the most welcoming agriturismo ever and who work tirelessly to share their love of the region and its history, the local products and the excellent food prepared using local ingredients. Definitely a place to come back to. We will bring...
