The Hotel is a gothic styled mansion and is situated in a fantastic location perched above the sea. Our room, 140, had large french windows overlooking the sea, we could hear the waves breaking on the rocks. The bed was large and comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel is somewhat eccentric. The reception area is rather dark and...

Please read in original English. My wife and I have been guests at this family-run hotel for over five years. The hotel is a converted chateau and has a special charm. The restaurant is the best in the region and the view is unsurpassed. Excellent sea breezes and the sound of waves lapping onshore at night make for restful sleep....

Had a brilliant Sunday lunch . The food and location were exceptional and the service as usual was excellent. I would recommend to anyone in the area to have a meal here they will not be disappointed.

Stunning location on the seafront midway between St Pailais sur mer and La Palmyre. Our room (142) had wall to wall sea views on 2 sides. The décor is dated but beautifully French and not 'the norm' you get in most hotels. The restaurant wasn't busy an food was good. Will be going back next year

Hotel building is very nice in classical style of 19-th century but rooms are smelling by tabacco and by mould... If you want to have dinner in hotel then you need to book table in advance. But hotel has nice view to Atlantic ocean and there is very interesting walk way to nearest beach. So, it is good hotel to...

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with our poor French. The rooms are on the small side but are fair value for the money. Lovely vista with the sea breeze from the ocean view room - a must for this location. Although there is a shower head, it must really only be a bath as there is...

Nice room overlooking sea, disappointed with small balcony where no room to sit and saw other rooms empty. Only ate in restaurant two nights as only two couples there and that included us. Breakfast Sunday good but poor on other days as empty, it all looked very stale except the fruit. We would return as loved the 70 style and...

We booked into the hotel for two nights choosing a double room with balcony facing the sea. Spectacular ! The view, the smell of the sea! The room was clean, well furnished in a style befitting the style of the hotel. Elegant but un pretentious .breakfast just amazing. Run by a family and the ambiance shows this. I visited years...

Having read some of the previous comments were were a little concerned about staying here, but there was no need to worry. Without being asked the receptionist, Renauld, picked up my wife's case and carried it into the hotel. He was pleasant, welcoming and friendly and, when my fractured French was exhausted, he cheerfully switched to English. He showed us...

No welcome dispite staff at the desk. Charged for three bed room dispite having email to confirm free childs bed. The male on duty became irritated when I attempted to show him my email I had to confirm this. Rooms and hotel very dated and stuck in the 70s along with the facilities. Could hear people in next room dispite...
