I didn't think places like this existed anymore...It is one of the most beautiful places on earth...totally unspoilt..all the buildings are thatched and surrounded by green forest on both sides..think exotic birds flying from tree to tree whilst you lie in your hammock. A deserted...More
We have just spent 4 days at celeste de mar. It is an amazing place. The hotel is cozy with a very relaxed atmosphere. The beach is 2 min walk and you can ask Maggie to bring you a couple of beers and guacamole. Her...More
Stayed for 3 nights. Is a nice place away from the busier parts of Mazunte. Calling Mazunte busy is a massive exaggeration though. The owner made my girlfriend and I feel very comfortable! Rooms are amazing and simple breakfast available to get you started.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights. We had the room with a pool inside. It was brilliant and a huge relief during the hot evenings.
The beach is a short walk away and there is a specific area for guests with loungers...More

Hi there. When I stayed, I didn't stay in one of the rooms with a small pool, but I remember a guest saying they were in a room with one, and it's like a private jacuzzi. i.e. not exactly a pool. But I'm almost certain there's also a bathroom and shower in there separately as well. It may not take the place of an actual pool if that's what you're thinking, but you can cool off there for sure.
However, the beach that is only steps from this place is called Playa Mermejita, here the waves are not very big there and you could still walk into the ocean to cool off a bit.
If you are still concerned about the jacuzzi part, just note, this place is so amazing and the owner Siddhartha is very responsive. He will help you with anything. If you sent him an email, he will certainly get back to you. He is from Mexico City, but his English is quite good. :)
