Stayed for 3 nights. Is a nice place away from the busier parts of Mazunte. Calling Mazunte busy is a massive exaggeration though. The owner made my girlfriend and I feel very comfortable! Rooms are amazing and simple breakfast available to get you started. The beach is a tad rough. No saying don't swim but jut be cautious. The place...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights. We had the room with a pool inside. It was brilliant and a huge relief during the hot evenings. The beach is a short walk away and there is a specific area for guests with loungers and chairs. It was basic but exactly what we wanted. A perfect getaway. Bed was...

Celeste de Mar is one of those places you hope to find one day: it's located in a very quiet part of Mazunte, beautifully designed and well taken care of. The beach is only 1 minute walking from the 6 Celeste del Mar cabañas and there is an area reserved for guests on Playa Mermejita. Breakfast, lunch, snacks or drinks...

Great place, basically on the beach - you take a very short path to the beach. Its a beautiful beach, however unsafe for swimming. Its never busy. Locals swim with flippers and boogie boards. One of the best places to watch the sun go down. Small menu available for breakfast. Short walk to town. 1km or so. The Hostess Jazmin...

Such a beautiful cozy place just steps from Mermejita Beach and about a 10 min walk to the town of Mazunte and Mazunte Beach. However for a quiet relaxing beach day (where you may be the only one around!) Mermejita Beach is perfect! For more action, head to Mazunte Beach. Celeste Del Mar is a fabulous place to stay with...

Mazunte is a busy little place, full of backpacker types many of whom could do with a good bath. We were very glad we were NOT on Mazunte beach. Instead, Celeste Del Mar is located on Mermejita Beach, just 10 minutes walk from Mazunte. This gives you the best of both worlds: you can head into Mazunte for bars, restaurants...

We stayed here for 7 nights and on arrival extended our trip from 5 to 7. It's a beautiful place, we stayed in the Superior room which had a great view. The staff and owner are lovely and we often ate a yummy breakfast there. The location is perfect, with the best sunsets. Everything was perfect. We are coming back!...

Stayed on the upper floor, facing in the direction of the beach. There are only a few cabanas, and a central courtyard area for breakfast, drinks, snacks; no outside noise as the area has yet to be developed and there appears tb only a couple of other cabanas nearby. Very quiet and a few minutes walk to a long, semi-deserted...
