Mazunte itself is a stunning place and Celeste del Mar was the perfect place to stay during our visit. Siddhartha and his staff were generous, helpful and great to talk to. The location next to the peaceful playa mermejita means waking up each morning to the sound of the Pacific Ocean which was lovely. The place is clean, the breakfast...

Spent 3 nights here and loved it. Sid and staff are amazing. They were all so nice and accommodating and took care of all our needs, going above and beyond expectations in every way (like Sid going into town to pick up items we had purchased from some local shops ). I can't imagine getting service like this anywhere else....

We were there in the off season and that's the best time to go, because it's just simply so quiet and still. The accommodations are wonderful and comfortable. You step right out of the hotel on to a truly great beach and plenty of surf. Siddhartha treated us kindly at every turn.

I cannot say enough about Celeste Del Mar and it's proprietor Siddhartha. It is one of those places that exudes warmth and hospitality. The buildings are beautifully designed with wonderful details that make it so unique. It is just a minutes walk to Mermejita beach where the sunsets are stunning and it is almost never crowded. Siddhartha went out of...

This place is too good to be true, spacious beautifully designed rooms. The very remote and original beach is just a stone's throw away, with some nice sunbeds and a beautiful beach cafe. The best place to relax, in your own hammock. Yoga classes in the morning are 100m. My sister and I were there for over a week, and...

I totally recommend staying here. The beach is really quiet, there are not a lot of people, no noise or vendors and it's only a 10 minute walk to Mazunte. The rooms in Celeste del Mar are really comfortable, they are big and though there is no AC they are totally cool. The owner is a really nice person and...

I didn't think places like this existed anymore...It is one of the most beautiful places on earth...totally unspoilt..all the buildings are thatched and surrounded by green forest on both sides..think exotic birds flying from tree to tree whilst you lie in your hammock. A deserted beach with stunning views as far as the eye can see..and not one high rise...

We have just spent 4 days at celeste de mar. It is an amazing place. The hotel is cozy with a very relaxed atmosphere. The beach is 2 min walk and you can ask Maggie to bring you a couple of beers and guacamole. Her guacamole is delicious. Siddhar, the owner is very helpful and nice. He helped us with...

Stayed for 3 nights. Is a nice place away from the busier parts of Mazunte. Calling Mazunte busy is a massive exaggeration though. The owner made my girlfriend and I feel very comfortable! Rooms are amazing and simple breakfast available to get you started. The beach is a tad rough. No saying don't swim but jut be cautious. The place...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights. We had the room with a pool inside. It was brilliant and a huge relief during the hot evenings. The beach is a short walk away and there is a specific area for guests with loungers and chairs. It was basic but exactly what we wanted. A perfect getaway. Bed was...
