Being seasoned Tent campers this was our first step into real Glamping in a Yurt. Nick & Kim were extremely welcoming and are on hand to help with anything you need but to be honest everything is there. The Yurt was beautiful and the beds very comfortable and warm, even with a double bed and 2 singles there was still...

Lovely to see you all here and thanks for the feedback - we really enjoyed meeting you and talking to you about the area (and I'm sorry if we've ruined you for ever staying in a tent again!). Just briefly, on the subject of a wood-burner in the barn, this is on our radar but it's only something we're allowed...

This was our first time staying in a yurt and will not be our last. We have 2 boys (6 & 3 years) and they had a fabulous time. Nick and Kim were very friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a tour of the site and showed to our yurt which was very pretty and very comfortable. The site...

Great to see you here with the boys and just relaxing - the Easter egg hunt your organised with the other yurt guests was a particular highlight for us! Hope to see you back here again one day - we're not far away!

We chose to spend our mini honeymoon here and did not regret it! Star gazing, outside shower, pizza oven, pick your own home grown vegetables, bicycles, cooking alfresco, sitting by the fire, loved every single moment of our holiday! This glamping site is green and extremely well though through. Although you feel close to nature, all the necessary comfort is...

Thanks for your lovely review Anna; it was great to see you both here and we loved your photos of the lovely August sunset and the ambitious camping-gaz cooking! The yurts are all packed away for the winter now but we're looking forward to putting them up again ready for Easter and have been having fun over the winter working...

My gf and I booked for the last bookable weekend of October and arrived late. Hosts, Kim and Nick, met us and guided us around the site. We were delighted with the yurt, which is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Each yurt has a wood burner, an outside gas stove and a spot for a camp fire outside. There are...

Pleased the weather was good for your stay and that yurt-life met your expectations! It was great to see you both here exploring the area. Many thanks for recommending us to friends, which we always appreciate - we'll hope to see you back here again next year.

Wow! What can I say that hasn't already been said.2 nights in yurt is not enough.the most relaxed 2 days EVER. My husband has Parkinson's and he found it very easy to get around.the sounds of wildlife at night is wonderful, even heavy rain falling on a yurt is enchanting.

Rain on canvas is one of our favourite sounds too! We loved seeing you both here and glad that you had the tawny owls to keep you company on site - mid-week in October can generally be guaranteed to be quiet in terms of other guests. It was good to get your positive feedback on The White Hart at Blythburgh...

Ivy Grange was such a beautiful place to stay during my time in Suffolk. It's remote, has everything you need for a camping stay (no matter how adventurous - both outdoor and indoor showers are an example!) and the yurts are beautifully set up and really cosy. Nick and Kim are very friendly and know lots about the surrounding area...

This place is special. We just spent a week there with our toddler and some friends, also with a toddler. It is ideal for families, but couples too. It's quiet and beautiful. The accommodation and set up is extremely well thought out. You can cook over a campfire right outside your yurt, or in the safari kitchen, or in the...

We loved having the two families here and were glad that Barn Owl and Swallow worked well for you both. It was great to see you getting out and about on the bikes with the children riding behind - seems like to managed to do all of our favourite things while you were staying! We chose yurting as our first family holiday with our 10 month old baby as we both love camping but couldn't face the hassle with our new addition! We had 5 nights in the Barn Owl yurt and were impressed with the high spec of the facilities including the cooking equipment provided and powerful showers. We enjoyed making campfires to...

Lovely to see you both here with Baby L - she was definitely a very well behaved, contented baby, our favourite sort! This was our first visit to Ivy Grange Farm. We were visiting with friends and we stayed in the Barn Owl yurt. The yurts are beautiful and the setting is stunning. We loved having you all to stay here and are delighted you'll be back for another longer break in 2016. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Choose one of our 5 elegant yurts (Barn Owl, Swallow, Lapwing, Yellowhammer or the colourful Mongolian yurt Woodpecker) set in a 2.5 Acre meadow in idyllic countryside close to Southwold and RSPB Minsmere and on National Cycle Route 1. Each yurt has its own bar-b-q, campfire, cooker and use of great facilities including our popular two-person Woodland Shower with plenty of hot water (as well as more conventional indoor showers and flushing loos!). Try out your pizza-making skills using our new cob-built pizza oven; take a spin around the quiet lanes on the bikes we have here; try one of our recommended country walks; pick blueberries or strawberries for breakfast from the fruit and veg beds in the meadow; take out a canoe on the river Waveney; try some wild swimming (we'll recommend our favourite spots!). We are near a station and are happy to collect and offer a "green" discount for those coming by train (or bike) as well as bikes to borrow when you get here or storage if you bring your own. A perfect place to relax and unwind, whatever the weather, whatever your passions. ... more   less
