The hotel is superbly located near the white cliffs. The accommodation is great, particularly bearing in mind the price. The restaurant provided a fantastic menu which was expertly cooked and presented. All-in-all a great find and one I would wholeheartedly recommend

Decent place to stay and lovely kept facilities and staff. Bar prices are very steep however - they are taking the piss in fact!!! £4,50 to £5 for a pint is what you would pay in central London!!! Food very good but again just over the top for what it is.

Thanks for your review Craigie. We're so glad you liked our lovely staff and facilities. Looks like you're reasonably passionate about beer! We do have loads of lovely local real ales, craft beers, lagers from around Europe and some cracking key keg beers on all the time. If you like a pint from Gadd's or Ripple Steam Brewery just up...

We wanted to visit the world war 2 Dover Cliff experience so we stayed at this hotel. It was a pleasant stay, the staff were friendly and the dinner was very nice and reasonably priced. £150 for a double room is a bit pricey and for that rate I feel that there should be lots of free tissues and some...

Stayed here for one night when visiting nearby Dover. Would love to go back and spend longer than one night - the staff were all excellent and very helpful, the room was perfectly cosy and bed was very comfy. Went for food downstairs later and had the full three courses - they were all amazing! Mussels were some of the...

Brilliant, thanks ever so much for your kind words, it really means a lot to us all. We'll pass your lovely comments on to the hard-working kitchen team, they'll be chuffed to bits!

Stayed 31 March in the family room which was a 2 bedroom cottage with kitchen and lounge separated from the hotel , which was great as we were worried that if our dog barked it may disturb someone . The check in was quick polite and efficient on arrival at our room it was lovely to see dog bowls had...

Ticked all the boxes for us. Real old England rooms around the central point of an old Public house with a super restaurant, excellent choice of evening meal and the breakfast included in the price as a continental breakfast was very wide ranging. Staff very accommodating. Our room was large with king size bed and we couldn't fault it. We...

Overall we had a nice short stay ( one night) at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the four poster bedroom which was lovely, spacious and clean. Room had tea and coffee facilities. The hotel is well located, short drive to dover cliffs and dover castle. There's also a small car park ( free). The...

Thank you for your helpful feedback. Yes, the whole village did have FOUR power cuts on Good Friday evening, THE busiest night of our year so far! This did cause a couple of issues as you may imagine! The power surges also knocked out our WIFI which ordinarily reaches all areas of the hotel. We have a Superfast broadband connection...

We were staying overnight at Walletts Court, it was a Sunday when their kitchen closed and no dinner served, so a reservation was made for us at their 'sister' hotel, the White Cliffs. The food was amazing, my goat's cheese fritters and monkfish scampi the best I have tasted, and the peanut butter ice cream was all I could manage...

Thanks ever so much for your encouraging words. It's so nice when guests at our lovely sister hotel come down and enjoy our little place down the road from the grand manor.

We had a last minute change in our vacation plans and ended up at the White Cliffs Hotel totally last minute! They were extremely accommodating, quaint, friendly and a lovely place to stay! They also offered us all the local information and made our last minute stay so pleasant! Thank you for taking care of us! Recommend 110%!

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was cozy and rustic. Food was tasty but a little on the expensive side. Continental Breakfast was great. Staff were very understanding regarding food allergies. We will definitely return next time we need to stay close to Dover.
