Stayed at this guest house on a few occasions now and wouldn't go elsewhere. It's spotlessly clean boasts a fantastic breakfast and Sue Donna and Chris totally make it. Would recommend this to anyone, solos, couples or families

My wife & I, along with another couple, stayed at the Hazeldene for two nights, April 15 & 16. We were travelling from Canada from where I had made the initial online reservation. Donna, the proprietor, could not have been more helpful, both during our internet communication and in person when finally meeting her. She is truly a warm, engaging...

I stayed in the single room without en suite for 2 nights. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. Full of chat and so friendly. Room was big enough for me, despite being on to the main road I heard little noise. Bed was so comfy that I chose to stay in it and missed breakfast on 1st morning. Room and...

We have just stayed there for one night and was very impressed with the facilities and it is extremely good value for the price. Lovely spacious room with great ensuite. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and loved the owner. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Will stay here from now on when we are visiting my son at York University....

Myself, my wife & 12 year old daughter stayed here for three days while visiting some friends. We were given the 'Jack and Jill' room which meant that our 12 year old had her own room but were connected through a shared bathroom. The negatives - the room could have been cleaner (it was not dirty, just could've been cleaner)...

I stayed for three nights and felt extremely well looked after . There was a problem with my shower which was just one of those things but what made it absolutely fine was the prompt and efficient way that it was dealt with .... The apologetic note left in my room was a nice personal touch and it felt like...

This guest house is in the middle of Selby, and I recommend it. I have stayed a few times, and it has typically been a good experience. The beds are decent, the bathrooms are clean and the breakfast is quite satisfying.
