Just visited this hotel for lunch today and it was absolutely lovely. Spotless inside, lovely restaurant and bar. The staff were very helpful and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Plenty parking, ideal location to stop along the whisky trail.

After playing 18 holes golf at Ballindalloch ( which was well worth the visit) the four of us chose Aberlour Hotel for a meal. Two had the pate starter which was superb and we then each chose a different main.Roast lamb, scampi, beer battered haddock and chilli. All came piping hot with lovely fresh veg or salad.Presentation was extremely well done as...

We were staying in a self catering house in Craigellachie and visited this hotel for lunch. The service was prompt and the food was piping hot. The portions were generous. Staff were also very pleasant.

Stayed over for one night, mainly to tour the distillery which is a short walk from the hotel. Aberlour is a small town with rustic charm. Had time to walk the High Street on which the hotel is located, stroll along the river and park and lucky to experience a glorious sunset. The hotel is more than adequate and comfortable,...

Initially this was not our first choice of hotel,as the roadworks were directly at the front pavement. These utilities road works directly in front of the hotel in summer, caused a great deal of disruption, but they have moved on now. Our party was warmly welcomed at The Aberlour Hotel, after being rudely let down by a nearby hotel that had double booked our...

The building is old but the internals have mostly been upgraded to a high standard. A better than average room. Staff are helpful but the food a drink selection and type are average; it is well cooked but bland.

Stopped for a meal on Friday night. One other table in although another table came in later but not busy. Order and drinks done fairly swiftly. Waited a bit for main course but if it's cooked from fresh that's what we would might expect. Plates then removed and we sat and sat waiting for the desserts menu but after at...

This hotel has refurbished its rooms and they have done a great job. Good bathrooms with decent showers. Rooms vary in size but are all generous or reasonable in size. #203 is a winner. The staff are pleasant and helpful, particularly the lovely people serving breakfast. The public appears to be for the locals and doesn't have much atmosphere. Stick...

Great location, friendly people and loved the room. Our family enjoyed the stay and the staff where very helpful. The rooms where extremely clean and comfortable. They notified us of local tourist sites, restaurant and provided directions. Our son forgot his wallet and they mailed it to us! They definitely went above expectations and my son was very happy!
