This really is a wonderful place to stay. With stunning views over Robin Hoods Bay and the East coast. The hotel has been much extended from the original house that was built in 1771. It has just about every conceivable facility, including heated indoor pool, sauna, 9 hole cliff top golf course, games room, tennis courts, putting green etc etc....

This hotel is in a beautiful setting giving access to the North Yorkshire moors and Cleveland way. The rooms are spacious, clean and has everything you need. The downside though is the evening meals. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and she advised not going to the restaurant due to a previous poor experience. So we had a bar...

Stayed for one night in Room 201. The views were absolutely stunning, Room was spotlessly clean and so spacious. We Also made use of the Swimming Pool and Sauna. A little small but as with room clean and well kept. Evening meal and Breakfast were very tasty and well presented. All staff were most polite and attentive! Would definitely recommend...

Attended a wedding here Easter weekend, what a wonderful place with views overlooking Robin Hoods Bay. Staff very informative and polite. The food was wonderful and reasonably priced. You are allowed to take dogs but there are only certain rooms they are allowed in unless they are working dogs of course

We went for a 3 night short family break (adult children). A very relaxed friendly hotel. We booked dinner and breakfast - food was good and the menu varied each night. We sat reading by the open fire when the weather was chilly and had a swim in the indoor pool which was warm. Incredible views and local areas to...

Visited on rainy Easter Sunday. Off the beaten track but worth it. Sat in the lounge and had the most divine hot chocolate with home made shortcake biscuits. There was a wedding party being held in the hotel and I can see why it would be a fabulous venue. Decent size car park and lovely views of the bay.

Dropped in to this lovely hotel and the end of our day in Whitby. Had the most beautiful hot chocolate along with homemade shortbread and strawberries. Hotel is very elegant but everyone was friendly. worth the detour for a hit chocolate like we had 😋

We spent Tuesday night at Ravens Hall for dinner, bed and breakfast and took our dog with us. Our room looked out to Robin Hoods Bay. We requested and got a window table in the restaurant where we had an excellent dinner, praise due to the chefs for both dinner and the oak smoked kippers at breakfast! All the staff...
