This B&B is absolutely wonderful. The breakfast is plenty- wonderful coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries just from the oven, and much more! Gloria and Bob are wonderful hosts, generously sharing restaurant ideas, sightseeing options and much more! The rooms are warm, the bathrooms are stocked with organic soaps, the beds are wide and soft. The house is just a...

Stayed three nights in May with a arty of ten. Exceptional rooms, light and airy, good bathrooms, great location and unbeatable views of the river. Isabel the hostess most helpful and pleasant, good breakfast and very clean. Notably quiet despite being by the weir but easy distance to the major sights. Mill workings still in place and add interest.

Late review from July We stayed for 2 nights, using the Moulin as a base to travel out. It's situated in a wooded plot, and as per the name, is on the bank of the Cher with the old mill working parts visible internally. It is not an upmarket chateaux, but an old working mill sympathetically modernised to a pleasant...

We stayed for four nights at the very end of summer. Isabelle was tremendously helpful in making restaurant reservations and offering her "two cents" about our days' itineraries. The room was clean and beautiful and right over the mill. The setting was splendid. Do not mistaken, though, you are not paying chateau-type prices and you should not expect chateau-type luxury....

On our recent trip to France my wife, daughter and I spent 3 days and nights at Moulin du Port. Our experience was perfect. Isabell was an exceptional hostess. She was wonderful about making suggestions and reservations for dinner. Her breakfasts on the sun porch were delightful. When I made the reservation I was concerned about the size of the...

We had a lovely room. Big shower and separate loo. Lots of hot water. The bed was comfy with spotless white linens. Square pillows but as I always travel with my own feather one, no problem! Isabelle our host was delightful and very helpful re restaurants etc. We would definitely stay again.

This B and B on the banks of the Cher is a beautifully situated old mill surrounded by peaceful gardens with a small private pool complete with sun loungers and sun shades. The owners have preserved the workings of the mill and the mill race in their original condition and have incorporated them into the fabric of the building for...
