This B&B offers a great value. The rooms, very spacious, are nice, with authentic furniture. Beds with excellent matrasses There is a small kitchen available, so you can bring something to prepare yourself and have lunch at the nice terrace. Breakfast is OK, rather basic.

As soon as we drove into the driveway we just knew we had happened on a little gem in the heart of the Loire Valley for our 3-night stay. We had the Seranade room which was elegant and spacious with a colour palette of warm pinks and burgundy against the stone of Touraine, a mixture of materials and antique furniture.... More

This was one of four B&Bs we had the pleasure on our recent trip to France. Beatrice is a wonderful hostess and she provided a warm welcome. Her breakfast table was excellent. This was the only one to offer to cook eggs and they were very well prepared. Beatrice recommended two restaurants in nearby Montrichard and they were good and... More

Béatrice is a truly charming and thoughtful host and her property is delightful. Our only complaint was that we could only spend one night here, but we loved every minute. The rooms are beautifully decorated with exquisite paintings and touches that reflect Béatrice's French flair and love of textiles and artworks. We couldn't have asked for more. We joined other... We spent the last three days of our two week tour of France with Beatrice at her lovely Le Clos de la Chesneraie. We were first struck by the beauty of the courtyard and surrounding gardens - truly a refuge! Our room was tastefully appointed and quite comfortable, with a window overlooking the vegetable garden and fruit trees. Beatrice was... More

We've stayed at Le Clos three times and each time we were greeted by the very friendly hosts, Beatrice and Dominique. They went out of their way to help us find the best restaurants and sights in the region. If you're lucky, they might prepare a special meal of the region one night. We feel very fortunate to have found... More

Spent two nights here on our driving trip to the Loire. Very comfortable place for a stopover and just a short drive to Chateau Chenonceau for an early morning visit. Beatrice is an excellent host and offered a sumptuous breakfast. She also give excellent suggestion for meals at Montrichard. Highly recommended.

In October 2013, after a long drive we were warmly welcomed to this beautiful oasis. The buildings have been restored, furnished and decorated by Beatrice with great taste, using pieces that she has personally selected. She served a marvelous dinner and breakfast, using produce from her own garden (tended with her Mother's help). We would strongly recommend Le Clos de... More
