Since we were accompanied by Donas dog we stayed for two nights in Fairplay Cottage which is detached building twenty yards from the main house. It was 90 plus degrees and the cottage was cool and comfortable. The cottage is well furnished with a sitting room area adjoined with a small kitchen area with fridge and microwave and sink. The...

We discovered Fair Play CA and Lucinda's Country Inn a few years ago and what a find. Fair Play is a lovely, small wine growing area with great wineries. Lucinda and Daryl run a very comfortable relaxing inn where stress and worries go away. They are both friendly and helpful about the local wineries and restaurants. And then there's the...

This was our second time here, and will not be our last. Cindy and Darryl offer everything possible for a comfortable and relaxing stay. They also offer excellent recommendations for wineries, restaurants and various adventures. The suites are a very nice size (one is fully equipped as ADA), the beds ensure a very sound night's sleep, and the common areas...

My wife and I stayed at Lucinda’s Country Inn for one night a few days ago, but we did not find the inn owners friendly: We arrived at 2:10 p.m. on Friday; although, I had earlier said we would arrive by 4 p.m. Instead of welcoming us, Lucinda scolded me for arriving 1 hour and 50 minutes earlier; although, our...

Lucinda's Country Inn is run by a very friendly couple, Lucinda and Daryl Sullivan. They designed the property to be a bed and breakfast and they did a superb job. It is an eco friendly establishment that had a lot of thought put into it from the materials used in building it to the placement of the beds in each...

Each room comes with a binder of instructions. All the answers are in there. You just have to want to study right after checking in. Right. We stayed two nights in a suite. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable. The pillows were like rocks. The sheets were heavily scented as if with a "febreze - like" detergent . Sleeping was difficult...

My wife and I enjoyed another great stay at Lucinda's during Passport Weekend, April 2015. Great hospitality from Cindy and Daryl! Beautiful rooms, a great breakfast, flavorful wine and appetizers on Friday and Saturday evening, and a charming B&B!

We spent two nights in this idyllic B&B and wished we had more time. The Fair Play area was beautiful and historically interesting, and there are many first rate small wineries, but coming back to Lucinda's late in the day was a pleasure to look forward to in itself. The Vineyard suite has a sealed gas fireplace that warms the...

Usually when I give reviews I have something critical to say. Maybe that's why I've not given a review to Lucindas. Everything there is top notch. The rooms are suites... almost more like a 1 bedroom apartment. It's quiet. So peaceful. We've stayed in the country theme and the European theme suites. Both are comfortable with massive luxury bathrooms. It's...

We were pleasantly surprised by this gem of a place. All the rooms are large, with large tubs & showers. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious. Close to many wineries. Great little secret...go and enjoy,
