If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. If you prefer some more entertainment and a lively atmosphere, look elsewhere. The resort is set in a small bay and is the only resort on the south-eastern shore of Koh Ngai. All other resorts are lined up on the eastern shore. There is great snorkeling right off...

Pros: lovely island, free snorkel and kayak rental, private beach Cons: breakfast is one of the worst I have seen, inedible. The resort is disconnected from the rest of the island, meaning you have to eat all meals at the resort, only a rocky 'path' connects it to the main beach. Said path is inaccessible at night, or high tide...

If you expect luxury, forget it. There's nothing luxurious about this place. We had the fan room and it looked very old and had nothing special. But I still love this place because of the wonderful private beach of the hotel. One of the nicest beaches, with clear water, great for snorkeling. The view you have when you are on...

Stayed here two nights and had a great time. The staff is nice and the resort is on a private beach, which was nicer than the public beach that all of the other resorts are on. The resort offers kayak rentals so you can paddle over to the other beach but there's no reason to since everything you want is...

We travelled in Thailand and Cambodia for a month with our backpacks and this was the hotel we liked the most. The best thing was definitely the staff. They are the actual Thai people we thought we would see across the country. Always with a smile on their faces, available and trying to help in every single way. We've stayed...

It is hard to be objective about a hotel if it is located on a small island that seems to be part of paradise. Arriving at this place is an adventure by itself. Not all ferries dock at the pier of this hotel. So we had to transfer two small children from the big ferry to a smaller boat and...

In contrary to most if the reviews, we experienced a good stay here. Very friendly staff. We couldn't arrive by boat due to the heavy waves, so they picked us up by foot from the main beach and carried our suitcase all the way, across the rocks. We negotiated an upgrade to the beautiful beach front bungalow. Recommended! With the...

My friends and I enjoyed this resort. A beautiful island, with beautiful scenery. We had rooms with air conditioners and balconies, and had very good views of distant islands. The beach is very nice, and the resort offered 2 hours' complimentary use of kayaks per day, which were very useful, as there are very interesting rocky areas to see around...

Quite expensive room price, but when you understand that you're actually in an island and everything have be brought from inland, it's not so bad. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They even spoke pretty good English as well. Free snorkeling and kayaking. Many fish can be found right on the beach. No roads. No scooters. Just water taxi.. Other...

We chose to stay in the cheapest room (fan) which was in a long building. The room had 2 large beds, a fan, little cupboards, balcony, big bathroom with (very) cold water for the shower. In general quite simple, but that's what we would expect for the rate. The window had a mosquito net so we could leave it open...
