Pros Restaurant location is five star on the water Restaurant is expensive but produces good food. Loved their hamburger with fries. Good Thai dishes. Beach is beautiful and mostly uncrowded. Expect when snorkel tours come in to trample the almost dead coral. Cool pier to swim off Decent Thai buffet breakfast Cons Boats won't stop at the pier. You have... More

We had booked for 3 nights but ended up leaving after two because we were so disappointed with the resort. This has been the worst accommodation in this price-range we have come across in many years of visiting Thailand. We took a basic fan room which was quite expensive to begin with. The room was dirty and there were also... More

We stayed three nights. Had a booking for one night at superior room and two nights at normal room. But hotel got us a free upgrade to three nights of superior room. Discount on laundry. Nothing is too much for the staff. Everybody is friendly. Could have a little remodeling. But all ok.

The visit to same resort in 2001 was then the absolute best experience in South Thai at that time. This time it was different. The owners should either invest into a big refreshment of the facilities and staff training or then sell it to someone who would have the passion to make this a 5-star resort. The beach is not... Have to say the location and snorkelling was great!! But.. every time we went to reception someone was complaining! And sadly the staff were not helpful. The room had a reasonable view but sadly was very dated. There was FOC snorkelling and kayak equipment but the quality of both was poor. The path to the rest of the island is... More

We stayed for two nights in a deluxe Seaview room. On the surface this is a beautiful place in a beautiful spot, a bounty beach, postcard worth views, coral reef right in front and its own pier so you can take the boat/ferry just to the door. BUT: This resort looks run down and is in dire need of maintenance.... More

We arrived at Koh Ngai and the island took us by surprise with all its beauty. But then we had to walk to the Koh Ngai Resort. And that was when my whole enthusiasm went down hill. What the resort doesn't tell you anywhere is that you háve to walk through a small jungle path if you want to reach... More

We stayed here 3 nights in one of the cheaper rooms in a long block of rooms. Ensuite bathroom, balcony, twin beds (we asked for a double but there were none available) and fan. The room was fine but nothing special. On Koh Ngai, all resorts are located on the main 2km long beach. This resort is not. It's located... More

The boss seames to plan very bad and all the staff are working all positions from serving, cleaning, making cocktails, reception, touristinfo etc and working totaly inhumane hours! The result is (even though the superstaff is the very best and not to blame) the quality of service is BAD. They should replace the chef the food is BAD! The worst... More

The hotel itself is old and rundown, but the view from this island... You will spend most of your time outside and will only be going to the room to sleep. It is great that the beach here is not overcrowded like many other parts of Thailand. Only regret was we only stayed for one night. 2-3 nights here would... More
